just curious. where to get the ammo boxes? i saw the picture where the guy kena stomp. looks cool.

 

u may wanna try sungei road...pop up once in a while see got new items or not..last time i check they got gas mask..but dun hav the "gas mask bag" the one use in army...if gt then can use as saddle bag.

 

Alternatively, make frens with ammo spec in camps..sure got a lot after field camp...hehehez

firstly..

a big thank you derek and broquet.

 

just now morning rain.. difficult to start.. engine like never makan no power to catch traffic light.. met derek put in broquet then go nearby kopitiam. within 1hour i can feel the power. my rxk so slow... now im happy i wont sell my bike. my friend test my bike many said why suddenly pickup gd.

i 100% recommend my friends and to all other riders...

Yamaha RXK BROQUET User Review

 

Bro Derek, Mike here la who just got the Broquet from ur wife at T.Payoh. Amazingly, I could feel the difference in my very old RXK man. Much better response & smoothness is there. Just pumped full tank to test out, hope the FC would be better then B4. 10q so much for ur great stuffs........

Researching on next bike to get after my COE ends i Aug for my CG125....

 

-Phantom ta150 / ta200: no more production, all 2nd hand

-Suzuki Raider 150: not popular in SG, called Belang R in MY.

-Sparks/X1R 135: possible, still would be nice to have 150-200cc that can to carry 2 big man loads around

-Wave 125: 125cc again...

-CBF150: specs like no power, heard china made

-YBR 125: lagi no power, damn cheap though

-RXZ 123 (specs show 133cc): 2 stroke, most powerful from all I've seen.

 

After lookin at all this, I'm trying to figure out what critierias I'm really looking at.

-still in production

-easy to repair in SG & MY for touring purposes

-strong enough to overtake stupid drivers

-popular, so easy to find parts

-easy maintenance

-low seat height is possible

-have power to pillion people

-good price

-dependable and affordable

 

Really like the Suzuki Raider 150, but think the RXZ (grandson of the RXK) is better all round.

Might just get a new one to COI la, then ride long time. Really sick of looking at comments that their bike is internally good. Even mechanics cannot do a 100% job themselves.

 

Any comments Bros?

Of course nice. Tat look is called 'Tracker'. FYI, the RXK can achieve different look wif different mod. You have the Cafe Racer, the Tracker, the Old-Skool and the Bobber. The bike shown in the video is the Yamaha SR400/500. The bike is not so old as it is still in production in Japan. Thailand has it but not here. Wonder why?

In this case, i recommend u the Honda Wave. Very good n easy bike. If a mech cannot do a good job on this bike, ask him to 'fly kite'. Bike got lots of parts in S'pore and Malaysia. FC also gd but tank capacity small. I see how the bike is abuse during my pizza hut days and it never fail me to sent my pizzas.

i seriously suggest RXZ.

 

The Mat rempits use it, Despatch riders use it, even uncle go mosque oso use it....doesnt matter la... it has been widely used throughout the ages. So seriously.... just get a rxz........its stock rxz can easily beat any 2b 4 stroke bike.....

 

concentrate more on a good 2T and dats it

Somehow I feel that the ta200 goes well with your muscles leh bernard. Then again the HARLEY goes even better. Hahah. So what's gonna happen to your cg?

Thot of it b4, but how much can u abuse a 125cc? Stressful to break repeatedly, then spend to repair.

Ya, looks like that's d best compromise. Need to know how to keep bike from smoking up to avoid trouble from NEA. I'm a honest law abiding citizen. Gahmen just need to educate us how to maintain our 2 stroke bikes properly:) There must be tricks somewhere;)
