let mi answer on behalf of them although i not riding 04 model cos they seldom online one, tyres wise is the same as S4, insurance maybe near 1000 or about more for 3rd party fire n theft, road tax is $200 per yr, as for box wise i'm got box on my 03 model, but for the 04 model, they all fitted side boxes

hope this help

me oso not riding but tot i saw the tyres

are 120 front and 180 rear...

meaning rear tyre is bigger than vtec...

vtec is 160...

03 model's rear shd be smaller, maybe 160 too...

price wise, it's best to chk out individual bike

shops since they might offer ur friend different

quotes...

shd oso look:

- registration fees

- got gst anot?

- if paying thru installment, any penalty for early

repayment? meaning if got money can clear

the loan without any fees. oso got any rebates

if early repayment?

- well, having said these.. after sales-service also

count. competency is essential since class2 bikes

are more complicated and required more

attention

- accessories for this bike, 04 model, shd be no

issue since bike is available in us apart from euro.

but shd be costly since will incur delivery fees if

order online

- engine guards are highly recommended as u never

know. scratches to the covers are permanent and

costly to replace. can try givi ones but dunno

whether they available anot

my two cents :bounce:

FZS600 (03) rear type is 160.

FZ600 (04) is 180. I wonder wether we can change to 180 or no? seen more shiok leh...

but base on BIKE review FZS, 120 front and 160 rear is good enough for this bike, if want to increase performance, mayb can try those high performance sport type like Pirelli Diablo.

work is life, no a job.

hi all 04 Fz6 owners, if ur bike has no box and hate carring helmet around during shopping, can go install a helmet lock. I bought it for $12 and fixed a bracket at seng kwang for $15.

Will post the pic when i get it taken.

cameron highlands is a nice place, but too bad i gotta work this sat. You should try the new route up cameron highlands from Ipoh. Very wide, no blindspot, and can corner throughout the high speed bends.

exhaust wrap is $86 (black colour)

stainless steel wire to secure the wrap is $2

@ chienwei1980, think u need 1-1½ hrs to get it fixed. oso need xtra need for ur exhaust to cool down. Or u wanna collect the stuff first?
