MEETING VENUE: Jurong Bird Park

MEETING TIME: 1200Hrs (12.00pm)

MOVE OFF: 1215Hrs (12.15pm)

 

Itinerary:

 

Phrase one: SGP 2nd link - Allen & Wright Bukit Indah - familiarisation of various locations in Bukit Indah & Gelang Patah (Bukit Indah zi char area, Bukit Indah 777, Gelang Patah 777, Gelang Patah service roads, etc) - Dinner: location will depend on timing, although it is likely that dinner would be back in Singapore - dismissal / free and easy

 

Phrase two: Saturday night meeting at Yishun Dam

 

 

  • Toll Charges:
    SGD 0.70¢ per In/Out via Cashcard;
    RM 1.60 per In/Out via Touch'n'Go

 

Checklist:

  • Valid Passport with more than 6 months to expiry.

 

  • Ringgits for own use(i.e. Toll, food & petrol);

 

  • Sufficient credits in Cashcard; Touch n Go card;

oh yea... one more thing... 3rd october is mid-autumn festival too... do bring along a lantern or two and some candles for night activities at yishun dam :cheers:

for a group size of 3... I think it is still managable...

 

I will stop if the rain is too heavy until it is unsafe to ride... safety comes first... the places will still be there :smile:

dang! if tuas is having "showers with thunder" what are the chances that it also will be raining over the causeway? Joshua, if it starts raining before you set off to meet us at JBP, will u be going ahead?

I only know of 3 in the area.

 

But it seems that there are 2 Kampong Orang Asli Restaurants in 2 different parts of Johor.

I will go check it out.

 

And one more thing... - Allen & Wright Bukit Indah - is A&W

 

yeah time to have another go at the overseas dinner..

rain stop at bishan.. now i depend on the 2 of you... NEa states that rain only in the early afternoon and late morning..

yeah, the weather was really kind to us. sometime like want to rain but never rain, a cooling and windy ride! :angel:

 

was it just me, Vidak and Joshua, your guys felt your bike being push left and right slightly by the wind while we were ridng on the msian highway? Happened to me when we are heading to Gelang Patah R&R after lunch and before going into the minor roads kampung area.

haha... we are indeed very lucky as we managed to to ride through both malaysia and singapore areas without getting more than a few drops of rain...

 

yea... the crosswinds were strong... but our bikes aren't that light... so its not so bad... windy weather all the way... :smile:

 

anyway thanks for making the trip successful... :cheeky:

super windy.. While travelling at 80km/hr , wind seems to be pushing me and slowing me down. Not so much of a left and right. Maybe our bikes are heavier?

 

seen you swaying from left and right for a min. Thought you was "siaming" some pot holes thou..

windy still riding at high speeds...hats off to u..

but dont end up in a ditch or something..next time consider the consequences..cross wind is one of the most dangerous situation to a rider man..
