maintenance wise or design wise?

Interior a little too cramp and the chassis very light. Why don't you consider a Getz 1.1M? A little more ex but safer(see links below). Same engine as Picanto, but better soundproofing. FC Picanto a little better due to the lighter chassis. Both of them just a point A-B car so don't expect too much. I'm getting about 16km/l for my Getz 1.1m. Hope it helps.

fuel consumption i would say depends on driver la .... u everyday accelerate aso drink petrol like drink water:faint:

lose 15k-20k for picanto is market rate wat. if u cant accept the fact, dun buy in the 1st place. so easy.

 

u can try drive a jap car see whether u lose 10k pr yr anot lor.
