my 2A bike, i squeeze, then the car move.. so mirror hit mirror..

then i intend to stop to wave sorry, but the driver horn all the way, so i jus act blur and move forward..

 

now, cls 2, jus fold mirror then squeeze..

When I hit the mirror,my heart tells me that I need to stop,apologise & even offer to pay for the damages.But somehow my brain starts to 'hang'.Then somehow my leg drop a gear & my hand start to turn the throttle...Then my brain begins to work,starting to pray:"dun c my chia pai...."

There was once while squeezing through a very bad jam at havelock road, I banged a taxi's side mirror on my left side. Made a quick glance, wave sorry, only to banged another side mirror ahead, this time on my right side. This time didn't wave sorry, just rode off.:giddy:

if possible i would wave an apology, too tired or pek chek i just move on. once i piak 2 - 3 mirrors while squeezing at traffic light and it's a bendy rd.

 

my mirror got knocked by car's b4 and the car was trying to squeeze me out. driver act blur oso.

Riding isn't my hobby.When i ride,i feel at one with my bike.It's a passion,a way of life. .

 

Unlike a car driver,a biker is exposed to the wind,rain,heat,flying insects and vehicle fumes,all which make the ride a total sensory experience.

 

The control and foucs needed on the road remove all cares from my mind,while negotiating sharp bends is the most exhilarating and exciting. . .

That's why I dun squeeze during bends....only on straights cuz drivers either cannot stay in their lanes, or are trying to drive like F1 taking linings within their own lane.... :mad:

never hit mirrors while squeezing thru jams in sg..

 

but my mirrors got a lot of battle scars becos jam at sg custom whether it's 1st or 2nd link!

 

The only other place where i wun bother is where u come back at causeway (sg side). After getting ur passport chopped, u will go to the place where ur bike will get checked. When the cars block up the bike lane b4 the bike check station, i wun bother if i hit their mirror. Their own fault for clogging the place up.

me too i learnt my lesson one stupid MPV broke my foot peg n nearly cause me to buang. idiot dunno know that CG of his car is different fr regular car.

Anyway, I agree. Even if drivers stick to their lane, it's still dangerous!

Someone's pillion dropped her slipper while I was squeezing in between lanes. It was red light [good thing] so she got off the bike to retrieve her slipper. I waited for her to pick it up as it was near my bike. Then when she got on her bike and I want to move off, I accidentally hit the car's side mirror. I waved sorry at that fella. :smile:
