gohjohan: wat bike are u riding?

Correct. Harley-Dave and a Shadow Aero 750.

why would u wanna pillion on your own bike when u can ride it?

to get a feel of how "comfy" it is..and how scary it might seem to pillion when on the ride :cheeky:

Yup, jB. People sit on my bikes say either smooth, or comfy. Complains are hot pipes. I dunno how hot the pipes are, but I'm sure it's not as bad as the engine.

Go toilet do what sia? hahaha

Anyway, TS, you should just concentrate on getting your license first, then choose which type of bike you like, then see which brand, then model and comfortability for both pockets and butt. Then ridddeeee....

the first time you ride your own bike, the feeling is damn shiok man.

Strongly agree. Dun concentrate on 1 type bike like me. As a result, I can't handle other bikes.

I think is ok to dream here and there but i guess after you aquire your license then you go and purchase your bike would be a better choice.

If u happen to buy a bike first before getting ur lic, u'll be tempted by the devil to ride it out..Suay siao kena caught, there goes ur bike, ban for the next 3 years and there goes all ur effort..

Imagine the disappointment of failing ur tp & going home to stare at the bike..

Can still rem the kind of joy i got when i pass my 2b & immediately went down to purchase my sp last time...Priceless...

ts..

pls consider again before u buy a bike before u pass ur tp..

especially u are only in prac 2.

things might change for better or worse as u step nearer to tp, harder hazard courses might make u change ur mind, or more determined to conquer them.

i know of people who quitted after e brake (prac 4 as of CDC)..

why? fell and broke their limbs and ambulanced to nearest hospital.

dun plan too far, be realistic abit. sorry if i dashed ur dreams..

thats insanely stupid to buy a bike when you are not even half way there man....

c'mon be realistic, you are buying it on impulse....

so what if you're 1.7m or 1.9m even 2m... doesn't matter what is your ride, it is how you potray yourself....

just like how you wear your skirt, some might not feel comfortable with skirts, but how a lady potray herself might make her look lousy or either gorgeous.

just 'wear' yer bike nicely and it shall fit to yer desires.

For every 7 pounds you lose, you gain one horsepower.

It's more fun going to buy a bike with your license anyway, cos you know you can pick and ride, rather and pick and stare. Like you buy big fat chocolate cake but cannot eat. slurp.

Can break one. I fall already badly scratched bleeding everywhere. Luckily fall in school than outside. But it was during warm up and actual test. Sian already didn't even go to road for test. Just staright away go home. End up wait for next TP

Ya... like having your engine die while doing bumpy course. Then you're still up there standing in your half crouch position, bo pian hop off the foot peg quickly cos the bike tipping over.

.... and your balls land on the fuel tank.....

Happening man. Shiokness maximus....

Haha everyone thinking of ways to get injured in circuit. But then also have. Even my instructor also said that some years back someone nego a bend at about 50km/h which is fast in the circuit, lost control and kissed the fence.

So i guess anything is possible.

I also got injuried in circuit before but was in S-course.

That time during practice 2 weeks before TP.

Kay Kian Try to break personal record for S-Course, fall down, break fall with hands, gloves got all torn up, palms got some minor scrtaches and blue black.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Paperger85 please don't buy your bike first, at pract 2, it will take at least another 2 months before you get your license. I mentioned AT LEAST so that will means AT LEAST 2 months of having to pay road tax, season parking, COE and insurance for nothing.

Also having your new bike sitting out in the carpark for 2 months, without riding is bad for the battery. By the time you pass, your battery would have died liao, bike would have got scratched by cats, sh!t on by birds urinated by dogs. And after you cleaned up the bird sh!t + pee from your precious new bike, you get to sweat your way, panting and pushing your bike to jump start. No a very good plan getting your first ride right?

Lastly when you want to sell away your bike, the bike will be of a older year 2007 compared to 2008, assuming you got the newest bike you can get now. So the price when you sell off your bike after you upgrade to 2A will be lower, meaning you will lose money again.

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.
