i think dont have to change just ask them what happen first mah... dont waste that kind of money. Told them bike still new why got this kind of thing happen.

ic... yah loh.. think go down ask why like that... for u guys ur coolant level in between upper and lower level right..? no wonder my bike like so easily hot.. very fast reach 80+ liao...

you are still running-in... normal for it to get hot... alot of things rubbing inside your engine...

ic... lol.. anyway i cleared my doubts on the coolant... cos i see the level that time is when the bike is on side stand.. but when bring up right the level is in between... lol.. my mistake... thanks!~

we guess is from the chain . most probably loose .

 

Then u try to check on your chain lor but cant be your chain lah somemore u are doing soft run in. Tmw u go n check and see how.

 

Izzit, quite slow and constant? If it is so, it have to do with chain and ur spocket.. Coz Mine also... rather soft though

 

that day, i go straight to planet to ask. tighten the chain, still got sound, then spray chain lube, no more liao. this is the 2nd time i tighten my chain liao. it seems to get loose easily. think by end of the year can change a new chain liao.

 

will monitor if there is any more sound. if the chain is dry, there will b sound cos no lubrication n the metal sound will b greater.

last week, flush n top up coolant, now like the temp rises fast leh. traffic jams, easily goes up to 97 n hard to cool down. dun change, not so jia lat. only expansion tank level drop. now is temp is abit higher... dunno y... had changed to maxima cool-adie...

lol... every bike have coolant i thought? my kips last time have coolant.. anyway 2B bikes hard to get hot... lol..

not all bikes have coolant. BUT big bikes sure have coolant. 200cc n below, only selected models dun have. n of cos, smaller bikes v.hard to get so hot. even my old S4 dun get so hot so fast. :sian:

My big bike don't have coolant, leh. It's air-cooled, so don't have a water system to worry about. :)

thanks for the quick reply guys. Regina quoted me 180 for the Puig screen, but i'm not sure if they quoted me the taller screen or the normal one. anyway, if order from UK (where most good stuff for our GSRs are at unfortunately) it's a bit steep at ard $208 inclusive of shipping i think.

Check with Kaozie. I think shouldn't be a problems. S4 also can add in...then why GSR cant, right?

i only know its illegal to have dark/smoke visor on your helmet...

never heard TP catch anyone for having dark/smoke windshield yet...

not likely my the other half saw the back seat and the foot pegs immediately is was a thumbs down!!!! btw I was at VIVO for the past 2days parked my bike at B2 near restaurants entrance.

anyway, i miss wildcard.
