ya i went to the bloody south island... i tink i nearly froze there.. its nice there but the staying outfield there still makes me shiver lol

Anyway, its 4 times in 10 years so average 2.5 yrs visit once....

 

First trip was 10 years back, then only spent 2.4k for 20 days....

 

Subsequent trips are abt 14 days in NZ and 7 days in OZ.... more ex...

i went to walaoru * duno how to spell .. n the only thing i remember clearly from Nz is a crap my friend told me. quoted from him "if they send their cows and sheep to invade singapore, singapore cfm toi. Lol"

Hmmmm....

 

Air tiks prices are going up cos of airport taxes and stuff..... THink my first tik to NZ was just 1k in 1997, most recent trip was close to 1.4k.....

 

If you staying in hostels, costs can be as low as NZ15 per head in dorm style rooms.... If you want privacy and own bathroom (aka ensuite facilities) then can be up to NZ90 for single room.... If staying in hostels, make sure you sign up for YHA card, got discount.

 

Generally, its NZ10 per meal plus NZ20 for transport per day plus NZ50 for lodging (assuming twin share rooms), so abt NZ100 per day for basic stays....

 

You will also need to check out how much day trips and activity costs....

 

Late autumn and early winter is colder but it is also low season so tend to be cheaper also

Bigger groups can have more cost sharing but also more conflicts along the way

Erm.. you want to change the bulb? If yes... easy peasy... just undo the screws on the lens, remove lens and change bulb...

 

If you want to change the whole light ass. its a bit more involved... but not much...
