I'm intending to have a play with my settings next time I head over to PG. This is apparently VERY critical to your bikes handling at speed.

My ride for 2012 - Yamaha WR250X 2008

Previous rides:

ROAD/FUN: Honda Sonic, VTR250, Kawa Z1000 & Kawa KSR110, Suzuki Savage

SPORT: Kawa ZXR400, Suzuki SV650, Honda CBR600F3 & CBR929RR, Aprilia RS125 & RS250,

DIRT: Honda XR200 & XR600L, DRZ-400SM, DRZ-400-S, GasGas EC200, KTM 200 EXC & 250EXC-F, Tricker

FRONT SETUP:

REAR SETUP:

Pre-Load: Positon 5 from soft

Rebound Damping: 1.25 turns out from full in.

Compression Damping: 1.5 Compression from full in.

 

*Note: All the above turns from full in mean turning Anti-Clockwise.

All other additional info in setting up suspension is welcome. Thanks!!

Still haven't managed to sort out any race fairings. :(

also got budget restraints due to planning wedding.

:giddy:

 

Will be going track for the next weekend session. Not sure when that is yet though.

wah race fairing u very rich hor? plus do wedding.... must be very stressed like me i now going to do house also very stressed but this month all weekends taken up leh..... weekday?

Had no idea how expensive getting married can be.

And I thought buying the ring was painful! It's just the start.

anyway, a race fairing is to SAVE you money in the long run as are CF engine covers, frame sliders etc. If you keep going to the track, eventually you will fall.

yeah that comes next for me.

1st = Ring (the scary part is that this is the cheapest item)

2nd = Wedding

3rd = Apartment

4th = Renovation

5th = Baby

(at which point wife wants to stop working and you become truly broke!)

Hi,

Any of u guys fitted legal aftermarket end cans?

I wonder if it is loud? I heard a 929 on micron but did not sound much different from a original can.

dun be so negative ah keep going track and eventually will fall ........... u are a very negative person. i admit ppl will fall in pg but if u keep to yr limits and not lose yr head in a battle on the track i dun think that u will fall...... thats my opinion lor

ya dunno wat happened.... maybe all sell off their bikes liao... hahaha

all change to CBR1000RR, ZX10R, GSXR 1000 K5 or YZF R1 04

totally agree!~... all change bike liao, 929 and 954 power not enuff for them... all going for a litre... haha...

954cc less by 998 cc by 46cc. really make very big difference? keke :cheeky:

 

at least in LTA, ours is considered 900cc.
