hey, wat he meant was the end can he change was from a accident cliam... a driver knock into his bike and the only thing that is damage is the end can only....

i seriously think if u wan the bike, its better to send down to shop and get it check... if its batt and rectifier than its only a small problem, and if its a coil then well, u know the price...

Wanna say Hi to the 2 954 riders i saw on sat nite..wonder if they are from here though..one is a yellow and black FU plate which i saw on AYE on the way to 2nd link sg custom and the other is a red and black 954 at the 2nd link sg custom..Nice ride you got there both of you..

Maybe you can try Sanfu motor. They scrapped a 929, and should have some parts left over. Got my spare tank from them.

 

Alternatively, ebay is another good source.

 

What exactly do you need? "blah blah blah" is not very helpful.

haha.. will be keeping all the original stuff for if I decide to sell off the bike in future.

I have delivered the parts and bike to my mechanic.

 

He will be sending the original to a machine shop to have a CNC copy made so if in future any CBR929 riders want to do the same thing they don't have to order an expensive one from Germany.

It can be shipped with the bars in either steel (34 Euro) or alloy (42 Euro, in various colors) but I chose not to go with that option. I wanted to try out a few bars at the workshop before chosing what I will go with.

 

The steel bars are almost identical to super 4 bars which can be bought locally for less than $60 and alloy bars are available locally, similar to what is fitted to the 400cc Monsters. I have a friend with an unused alloy bar from his monster, will be testing that out for a start.

thks bro, going down tmr to take a look. i need speedo, rims, sai tao and headlight

i switched on my bike last evening and to my horror, my mileage(not the total mileage) reset itself, the clock reset itself..

 

usually this would only happen when i take out the battery. now after i stopped my bike for 4 hours, and went to start it, all reset. how how? any ideas?

have you check for any loose connections?...
