another thing you have to get use to is

your bike handler and mirror is higher than your R6

so is alway at the height of Van , lorry or MPV ...

you have to watch out when pass through them ...

hee actually the mirror cannot hit de, it's the handlebars tt is the same height as the mirrors. just sent an e mail to income.

did u take a pic of the case?? as what csm says wait they any how claim.

becos they have insurance excess and i think the casing with be less than the excess.

alternative now is go to yr insurance and let them take pic. if yr bike damage is 'practically nil...then van cannot claim jialat or blow up the claim

u might be right..as majority of van is company registered..so if the driver is not the owner than bo chap. my guess is that he will call you and ask you to pay for the casing. inform ntuc about it. yr premiun will not increase if other party never claim you even if you make a report.

similarly if the van claim against you and the amount is not big..you can pay income for the amount instead of losing ncb

well, the driver just now was saying, "if my car nevermind lor, but this one is my company van" think just wait and see if the claim letter comes lor. will update again.

the pic of your bike also tell something...the damage of other party should be very minimal. the earlier the better..evident they the acident is very minor one.

ok then, now have to go out with my mum and aunties for a mother's day celebration event now. perhaps later or tommorrow will try to go to IDAC. thanks for the advice uncle!! :smile:

wah just now i knocked a van mirror. the mirror didn't dropped out but the plastic casing covering the mirror broke. sibei sian. the driver stopped me and took my details. he asked me compensate. i told him to claim from my insurance instead. there goes my NCD. dunno if he has a case though.

 

i inspected my handguard, only saw the flies i killed last night, never even see a scratch. lol. my bike is like a tank.

 

van/lorry's mirrors should be quite cheap.

 

just get one from the stocklist and compensate him?

it will be more worth it then having your NCD gone.

 

i believe the mirror won't cost more than $50.

unless it's those motorised auto-mirror for cars.
