I just wonder, if you all say it is only for memories, why do you still need the pics? If they are really that precious, memories kept in the mind are all personal and cannot be shared by others.

 

I agree, it takes a lot of couage to throw the pics away. As they are a reminder of something familiar and something much treasured.

 

I threw away everything which can remind me of my exes. Cried my eyes out when I was packing the stuff to throw. I remember my eyes remained swollen for the next 2 days. Now the pics are burned into my memories and viewed only by me when I want to.

I still have my ex-GF love letters and a picture of her at my Mom's place. I did have my wife's ex-BF's love letters and pictures which I kept when I discovered those during the time my wife and I just got married and moved in together. However, when she found out where I've hidden the letters and pictures, she disposed all of those. I damn :sian: but can't do much cos technically, all of the stuff belonged to her... :sweat:

Nope. Mine are still safe at my mum's place. I meant she dumped hers. She said no point keeping those cos she is now at a new chapter in her life and doesn't need the love letters and pictures of her ex that reminds her of the past... :)

i do regret throwing away last time... the cute snoppy cards sent by my ex... that y , after the incident, i will keep it but dump to somewhere i dun wan to see at all :p

maybe because they can't bear to throw it away? maybe some want to view it when they miss their ex? different people got different choices of keeping it.

Kept them..In a really private and secret place..So private and secret I don't have a clue where it is..At times when doin a spring cleanin..Would stumble across them..Look at the stuff and read the stuff then..My spring cleanin got interrupted..So quickly chuck them in a private and secret place again and forgot where it is..And this goes on and on..:cheeky:
