if all else fail... juz throttle up n zoom past it.. better to minus points for nvr stay in the course for the min timing than to fall frm bike and get imm. failure....

arms relax, throttle each time before you hit bump and once cross bump, rear brake lightly.you must coordinate your brake, clutch, throttle, balance and control

and like katana777 say,if cannot chiong and lose some points to avoid immediate failure..

Weight on the pegs, not the bars. This lowers the centre of gravity and makes the bike easier to steer when it starts to move around. Keep the arms relaxed so that you can control the throttle, clutch and steering easier. Bend your knees and use them to absorb the bumps, so that your upper body won't be so affected.

Look far, not down at the bumps, or else you'll wobble more. Same idea as the narrow plank, looking down vs looking far. Some people can look down and do, most people can't.

i used to struggle with this and nvr understood why. only towards later part, i realise for me, most impt is to keep most of my weight on the tank. if i put most of my weight on my feet, it is v. hard to try balance left / right feet with equal weight distribution + still able to control my rear brakes effectively.

Hence the "trick" for me is to grip the tank and try put as much of my weight there, the rest is pretty straight fwd from there.

I had trouble with this for my 2A as well...but during circuit revision I kept doing it over and over...then got more familiar with the technique...but still not good...50-50 my engine will stall cos I go too slow...haha

So like what some of the others said...just go through it and dun need to go too slow..2A 6s is very easy one...you'll be surprised =)

The instructor told me, Not too slow. Just do like walking speed... Maintain Biting point all the way, then throttle. Dun clutch in out in out, cause when u half standing the angle of half clutch is different and tend to release the clutch further hence stalling. And also try hugging the bike. Relaxed arms, make ur arms like suspension.

Pardon me I have not been riding for over 5yrs, and I used to have problem with bumpy course.

I experienced there is no miracle technique. Many school of thoughts, and I second " practice makes perfect ". And I overcome it by practice and feel, most of all enjoy it.

Like walking, many ways and postures, got to find whats most comfortable for you.

me 2. i use to have problem with bumpy course from 2A to 2.

finally after the class 2 test did i realise .

Just half clutch, brake abit, throttle abit....

Dun use the instrutors method of clutch in and out, it's very tough.

Oh happen to know this is my thread 2 years plus ago.

To all those learning, gd luck.

Many methods, just find one tht suits you. For me, the 1/2-clutch don't work and that was one of the reason I keep stalling the engine. Well..not that it don't work, but coz some school bikes are so damn old. In the end, I end up clutching in a tiny bit, when i need the power, then 1/2 clutch and throttle at the same time. kinda tricky, but it avoids me stalling the engine at critical times.
