CB400 spec3 or CB400 Vtec Revo?

hey guys me new to class 2a ..........am about to get a super4 but am not sure which to get shld i juz get a spec 3 or wait for Vtec Revo which will be coming out march 2008.........the look wise its the same its juz the new ABS n some more dunno what.........i need u pro of super 4 to guide me/ adivise me .........pls thx

firstly look into yourself..

 

are you going to upgrade to class 2?? (normally most will say no, but things change after more and more nice CL2 bikes OTR)

 

IMO, new bike seems good, but mind you, it's EFI version.. have you seen any carb bikes being recall? hardly..

 

recall rates of EFI bikes?

somemore S4 Revo is the first batch of EFI S4.. a bit risky right?

 

EFI bikes are prone to have more electrical failures than Carb models..

i've known may that experience ECU problems..

 

just follow your heart.. but bear in mind that if you going to upgrade to CL2 soon, you will lose out quite a bit if you buy 1st hand bike unless of cuz, you are loaded..

wait for a few yrs till they improve the model.. i got my FBB9XXX spec3 over GSR400 due to better performance and known reliability.

 

imho, if u are upgrading, a Spec1 is good enf to tong thru

me and my fren got our bike together, he is a gsr. and he is still *****ing behind my back. i mean behind my bike. haha

if u intend to change to class 2, get a 2nd hand bike will do. cos u wun lose out alot getting a 2nd hand one. but of cos have to c that the deal is good.

If you can wait, then dun buy spec 3. If you cannot wait....den you buy lor. Anyway, we still do not know how is the reliability for the new revo. If you are buying it, update us ok. We would like to know how good it is.

from the pic, it looks like stainless steel exhaust & fuel injection.

Means no more rusty exhaust (most S4 exhaust will rust after 2 yrs or less). Fuel injection means more economy & less maintenance.

 

My advice is buy either revo or secondhand S4. No point buy new S4 now.

Second hand S4 can sell off without heavy loss after 1 yr. Then upgrade to class 2 bikes which got more varieties.

ya i am plannin for the revo.......fuel injection some more gotta ride the baby...i was plannin to downgrade to R125 but heard it dint pass singapore.....so next is the s4 revo
