Wow I thought bike prices in Australia were expensive but it seems you guys are paying more.

 

Brand new

2010 CB400 SF Revo here is AUD 9000-9500 which is SGD 11250-11875

2010 CB400 SF ABS Revo is AUD 9500-10500 which is SGD 11875-13125.

 

This is including all on road costs and 1 year registration but excludes insurance which isn't mandatory but costs between AUD 200-1000.

Yea Singapore I can say is top 3 whether in terms of bikes, car or house. And there is also a tenure for them when u purchase.

I was actually looking at bike prices in Turkey and a 2010 CBR600RR costs TL 27000 which is about AUD 21000 and SGD 26250.

 

The 2010 CBR600RR can be had in Australia for AUD 13500-14500.

Cbr600rr should be around 22-23k here in sg. Most ppl in singapore get a bike as owning a car is too costly.

 

Buying a small size car will be like getting two Cbr600rr

It's very interesting when you compare the prices amongst different countries and the vast differences between them.

 

Owning a car and bike end up costing the same in Australia due to servicing costs on bikes being 3X more than car.

diff countries got diff taxable amount to pay, diff pricing, diff currency rates.

 

SG needa have COE, rd tax, bike insurance, season parking etc, amounts to alot

hey.. u guys noe battery costs how much for revo ? mine died on me today hahaha =s

 

Bro u put alarm ah? the stock battery of revo can last for quite long , if it died because of alarm or other things, just push start and it will recharge back when u ride,thats wad i did haha

no alarm leh ! its all stock haha ! i heard revo cannot push start cuz of the EFI thingy, but since u say can i shall give it a try. =) hmm, anyway just asking, ur long is considered how long ? mine 2 years havent change... and the shop near my house quoted me 100 bucks for e battery.. sounds rather steep.. any advice ?

guess its time to change the battery lol. i hv no idea hw much it costs.. first time changing battery for S4.. the guy said 105 because revo battery is different from the other S4 around.. dunno how true that is.

mine is 1.5 yrs, stock revo battery is yuasa YTZ10 or something(forget the actual name) which is supposed to be able to last for 4- 5 yrs, previous specs uses different battery from us which the lifespan i shorter, perhaps if u dun mind ,get a voltmeter installed and monitor=)

Yo.. i need to tune my A/F ratio.. Does anyone know if I need to purchase pc3 or pc5 or i can just tune it without power commander..? I heard one motoring at bukit merah can tune it without power commander.. can anyone enlighten me..
