Hi guys, just wondering any Revo owners out there have issues with TPS sensors failing? I had my Failed TPS and it burned off the body harness wiring on my Revo. Just checked with Unique motorsports and found out that i had to replace the entire body throttle! might need some little advise for u guys. Thanks...

Bro where is the location of tps n which part of wires got burn. Wat symtoms of it failing?

The initial idling starts to drop below 1K rpm, moving off very very sluggish and my exhaust appears to be emitting black smoke..looks like the A/f ratio running out of control. u can locate the TPS on the left side of ur throttle body a small metal thingy attached on it.

Work to ride and ride to work.

The original TPS sensor only come with the whole trottle body assembly..

Check out racewerk they do carry after market TPS sensor for revo..

Think it's a good deal as it claims that it will improve performance too..

TPS is located on the left side of your throttle body near the plastic covers below your fuel tank. problems start arising when ur RPM starts going lower than 1k and moving off is very sluggish...alot of black smoke emitting out of ur exhaust too since TPS is no longer syncronising with ur throttle positioning properly...anyone fixed up the recalibrator yet? share with us the after installation experience...

Do you have pcV?

Coz for my case it's the PC that is giving the problem instead..

Im running on stock mapping...whoa like that better run on a dyno on a reliable workshop.....

Hi guys, i am planning to get a new revo can i know what are the things that i need to take note of? and would also like to know how much is the servicing and what need to be change? Furthermore, i saw some of the earlier pages people discussing about pc 5 pc V what is that about, Thanks in advance for the enlightment.

actually it's not the PC itself that's giving the problem,

it's the cable that laying under my seat and pressing on the cable that coz the problem..

after relaying the cable then problem solved..

Since you are getting a new Revo will be normal run in lo, nothing much to take note haha....normal servicing range is around $100+ , PC 5 = PC V = power commander 5/V , its sort of tuning which is the only way to tune for revo as its an EFI bike(similar to class 2 bike) price will be ard $750 for that, hope this helps =)

muhahahahahhaa!!! okok. thanx bro!

i just changed front and back to EBC. hmmm. what should i say, braking is excellent but some noise coming from the front calipers. wonder if it will go away... maybe dried orange skins wont make any noise..

i used to depress alot before achieving the braking effect. as time progress, probably the original brake pad got worn out thats why i need to depress so much... but this EBC, just depress abit, really abit kinda abit, the braking power kicks in. i am using stock rubber hose btw, cos wanna see the effectiveness of just the EBC pads and i would say it is excellent, less the brushing sound from the front calipers. really hope those noise goes away cos i was deciding on getting the "Braking" pads which my friend recommended but the salesman said his customer complaint about those pads being noisy.. so i went away with EBC which cost the same.

Anyway reading from the forum, any kinda effective brake pads some how or another will be noisy cos it is very rough. if the noise dont go away my next pads would be from "Braking".

The bottom right-most indicator(below neutral) will have yellow ABS light, non-abs models, that one will be blanked off.

Or you can ride to 50km/h, and engage front brake 100% strength.

Anyone can ride a bike. Being a biker, is a state of mind.
