Hey guys.. Need a huge favour.

I bought a CB400 spec 2 bike and but the vtec does not seem to work. can someone help me on this. Hiss bulb blinks and I got only one key. I have no idea if it's a key with a chip. Bike is running without vtec . Can someone help me on this.

Why not bring it to ws? If you have bought it in this forum, then maybe can pm the seller

Sorry. I'm not in your country. I need some technical knowledge on this. I'm not sure if the original cdi is in the bike or not or if it's a problem in the vtec solenoid. How can I check it? Does hiss relate to vtec aswel??

Skuzz,

I have compared to another vtec. Mine doesn't give that pull when it reaches the rpm. HISS does not flash when riding! What does that mean? also how can I find if I have a sensor key or if my barrel is modified! I've checked online about vtec and it's a solonide that opens oil pressure to lock the value and increase the timing. Is there a way to test this . Pls help me out

Thanks. Il be removing the bike on the garage for a tune up on Monday. Il check on what you said. By the way look at the following picture of the meter. Yea I think so too. Because to our country lots of stolen bikes come from Japan. I think this is one of them, they never had the original key so they didn't know to program it n might have taken it off. Do you think their could be any other reason ? Like changing the wire kit aswell? Isn't there any other way to on this solenoid. Uhmm how much would the complete set cost cuz it's not available here.

Hi guys. I am riding a 2 year old revo. when moving off and changing gear to 3, i realise that no matter how much i throttle my speed remains at maximum of 60km/hr and only my rpm is going up. it is like my engine sound is the loudest in gear 3 compared to other gears. no such problem when riding in other gears. just wondering whether is there anything wrong?

Recently, I realised that my front tire pressure have been dropping quite a bit over a week.

 

Top to 240 and about a week later, it is 180. No screw or crack on the tire and it is 9 months old stock dunlop. The rear tire drops from 270 to 230 over the same period.

 

I'm a casual rider who rides once in every 4-5 days. Does infrequent riding contribute to this pressure loss or the loss is normal?
