my bike always stalls at traffic light. idling time is very low very, very weak when stop. only experience this after exhaust gasket change. i think need to change settings. any bike shop recommendation locally?

There is idling screw on the carb where you can adjust the air flow. You can try to set it to high idle.

am new to bikes thus dont dare to do myself. but in the mean time i always travel with choke on as it gives high idle. is there any side effects in a long run?

yes. the choke is used to give more air flow so that you can easily start bike. Not to use it for riding. it will have bad effect on your engine because petrol run lesser than normal. ask mechanic to set the idle screw. it should be foc.

yup thanks. done at a bike shop for free. now its better. now need to do full service. i now cant use estart anymore dunno why and hard to kickstart to get the bike moving

hi pple, i just got a spark z, i am wondering where to you all get cheap spare parts from in jb? i usually go to JS AUTO PARTS ENTERPRISE at jb ah gua lane. the bike is currently quite wrecked so i would like to change some parts to make it nicer looking, any recommendations?

my spark's vibration is heavy, always travel on expressway vibrates alot until very uncomfortable.. anybody know whats the reason being?

i think maybe the reason is becase you going at high speed?

maybe because you used to R1, then spark the speed not there for you. haha..

my x1r also vibrates like there's no tomorow when i'm travelling too fast. haha..

If you need genuine yamaha parts, go to automachinery. Along rowell road. If you go jb, ask for yamaha lagenda parts cause most of them can fit into sparkz. Most bike shops at jb have lagenda parts.

 

when i go above 100km/h, bike will vibrate. its normal i think. but the speedo is not accurate. 100km/h sparkz is equal to 83km/h from car speedo.

today i went to JB

 

the foreman re tune my carb setting for fuel + air mixture

 

it was not accurate , the air intake was lower by one cycle

 

after that it seems fine. Now under trial run

 

also changed engine oil shell 4T

i am not sure too, but i don't think its the piston.. i hope spark z riders share their bike photos here with us i want to see how all your babies look like~

x1r looks nicer than spark z i think, but spark 135 nicer im only 165.. riding the r1 puts alot of stress on my feet as i can only tip-toe on either feet.. to me i think its of no point i ride a bike until so stressful and prone to accident, so i decided to change to a small bike before deciding what to buy next.. and i end up with this from a friend who doesnt want it anymore

r6 is even higher than the r1 for your info.. if you want something lower go for suzuki.. harley might be low.. but position of the feets are not very near also.. hahaha all in all short = sucks.

now u must understand,

 

 

1. msia poltics has been corrupted tremendously

 

2. prices increased

 

3. JB now making big quick money from spore bikes and spore malaysian workers

 

due to this the prices are super silly

Today i changed plug and retighten gasket which leaking oil on my yamaha spark z year 2004 model.

 

All i do free. Parts belong to me.

 

i use plug iridium power IUF24 SGD 16 bought in rowell road

 

my bike meter now is 84679
