Duro have the stock size and slightly bigger size too.

 

bro, went to kallang cycle just now. one uncle asked wat i wanted. so i asked if he got duro tyres for nuovo and at the same time pointing to my bike. in a split second he say don't have. then pointed me to the direction towards either AhBoy's workshop or the Future of Scootering shop. so, nuovo being a scooter, i approached the Future of Scootering shop. again, one chap asked me the same question and, again, i answered pointing to my bike. the best part was, he said, "we don't have tyres for dat(my bike), we only do scooters".

 

felt a bit sad that nuovo is not classed as cup nor scooter. feel so unwanted:cry:

 

so, my question to you is, are we talking about the same kallang cycle u go to?

thats the well know Michael Chong who does all Ducatis and exotic bikes. the person u are looking for is Ah Choong. a much younger fellow. Ah Choong only reaches there at abt 10am. But for the tires, pls contact him at 90220203. he needs to preorder for u 1st. everything regarding my nouvo has been done by him. even modding the variator for pick up and top speed.

nothing needs to be change. only the mod. pricing not convenient to share. but i can guarantee it'll be much cheaper and lasting compared to changing the whole thing to after market types.

pardon me for my ignorance. I wanna to check with you, if, our belt snaps during riding, will the rear wheel still rotate or jam as like those of chain bikes. Since this is my first time riding an auto, it always reminds me an incident which i witness a long time ago when i saw one bike when his chain snap and the bike was dragging for a certain distance. Luckily for him, the speed and distance was on his favour.

relatively cheap. just changing belt should be less than $60.

it depends on how the belt breaks. if totally broken, Thank God. if belt breaks but kevlar strings some still unbroken, then can be quite dangerous. cos it might jam up the transmission.

same goes to chains. if chain breaks and jam somewhere, many things can happen.

Thanks Bro! It set my adrenalin pumping whenever i cruise at our expressway.

Being the bike offering excellent pickup and cruising speed. But also remind me of that incident making me release throttle and keeping extreme left in case of unfortunate incident haha........

 

anybody here had ever hear or seen of belt snapping? Please share and we can have a crime prevention.... oops! I mean accident prevention for our limbs and bones.

Thanks for your invitation bro alifk69, but i dont think my Home Minister (wifey) approve on me going down. She, being the Finance Minister, (pardon me, she have many portfolio lah) have arrest my budget for this Hari Raya. As an Environment Minister herself, i need to prep my Parliament House this Saturday. And i need to do last minute shopping with her and my MCYS Minister (daughter) lah this weekend.

 

Hopefully, she's not reading this forum, for her being the Law Minister, i scared i kena HD (home detention) under her ISA.
