your new rear tire is going to wear very fast. cos that tire is meant for 'Front Wheel Use Only'. the compound is soft.

Is it? Then how? Any advise?

not mech dunno. its either he mistaken it for EO or simply dun care.

No. He simply take the Gear Oil from the plastic bag, poured into the container and then pour everything in. I tell him that this is Gear Oil. I want to change the gear oil. But he simply ignore me. I am pissed loh. He tell me this is a good grade of Gear Oil (Motul Gear 300). So it can be used as Engine Oil. I was thinking WTF.... Then he topped up with about 200ml of Engine Oil from a new bottle of Engine Oil. F*** I called my friend and check with him if it can be done this way. He say "No La". " Ask him to drain out then replace the engine oil for you.... I was so pissed. I went to tell the lady boss. Then she ask him to drained out then replaced.... Damned it

Ok. The point is that:

How can Gear Oil mixed Engine Oil and use?

Where to find another bikeshop that has Motul in Yishun?

My friend recommend me to go Soon Hin, but I dun see them having Motul. Can I buy from Tune In and get Soon Hin to change for me while I also do some other servicing?

how? too bad nouvo uses 16" tires. locally this size tire not in demand. since u already change, just use it. next time u try the Duro. i feel its better than Kenda.

y must only Yishun? travel a bit more to get a good job done is more worth while.

Ok. Noted. But is it better to have both 16" 80/90? Or should I stick to the original size. Apparently most of the bike shop doesnt have that tyres for the front wheel...

Duro has tires for 70/90-16. changing your front tire bigger gives u more stability. but might slow down bike and makan more petrol.

well. im inspired by thailand nouvo mods. they change their rims to 17"

i've asked a few bike shops. it seems that u can use at the most a 70/90-17 profile for the rear cos anything bigger will hit the swing arm.

and cos of that compromise, i never tried converting. i like wide tyres. gives me more confidence.

nope. just a scooter shop with a well known scooter mech. he does other big bikes as well. my nouvo was taken care by him.

bro bigcow, have u tried or heard reviews about Maxxis tyres? they are a bit more pricey than Duro. so, i'm not sure which to go for.

Maxxis does manufacture quite a number of good tires. never tried on Nouvo b4. maxxis tires for Nouvo available locally?
