Oh. I almost forgot. In order to ride into your camp, you need to go and take the defensive riding course. There will be a certificate to submit to your camp so as to ride your bike in. Without the certificate, you will be query if you are caught riding your bike in. You can also get it subsidise after attending. Do check with your Sirs or OC about this.

Yup, i alr asking my PC and have also called SSDC... Will be going down on sat to register for my session.... FREE OFF for that day :cheeky:

Happened to find the numbers to the insurance agencies that I had called up when buying for my SW:

Allianz 62816520 (Molly/Sharon, Ban Hock Hin Co PL, the one that gave me the best)

Mitsui 63373133

NTUC 64777544

AXA 18008804741 (I think they don't do bikes but can try asking again)

Thanks alot for the numbers!! Have called all of them and it really shock me.

Allianz - Don take riders below 22 y/o

Mitsui - $1.2k for TPFT (2nd party)

Ntuc - $1.6k for TPFT (2nd party), $3k for comprehensive

AXA - $1.1k (Cheapest currently), 3rd party only $600++

All so exp... really sian if i were to get 2nd hand coz add up would be comparable to the first hand that i get ban hon :sian:

Yup, coz its my first bike and i have saved quite a long time for it so now researching to get the best deals.....

I will be paying full cash also so won have to worry abt loan...

Wow, speaking about poor NSF :cheeky:

imo, no need to spend too much on 1st 2B bike as high chance to sell after 1 year. :)

Anyway, for me i tink after i get my nouvo, i am quite sure that i wont be changing the bike for another 3-4 years due to financial difficulties...

So just a serious question here to ask from all the bros here, u tink i shld get a new bike or get from y2kredbull?

New bike = $5500OTR~ (including everything)

2nd hand = $$3600 + $1170(insurance) + transfering fee= $4800~

Anyways wats the benefit of getting a new bike and second hand except the pricing and maybe no need run in?

Now serious pondering these questions...

you can never be too sure of the future. it's easier to save $1 today than to earn $1 tomorrow.

maybe you back to your priorities and why you even need a bike in the first place to find the answers.

New Bike

- Good image.

- Confirm new, lesser maintenance

- New number plate, but risk getting lousy number

- Lose lots of money when sell early

Old Bike

- Need to check for damages / condition / wear and tear. Some parts may need replacement.

- May have some enhancements from stock

- Already know the number plate

- Don't lose much money when sell later

transfer fees not so expensive i think. will be less than 4k all in i suspect so 1.5k savings worth it in my opinion

Ask for the quote for the 3rd party comprehensive with Fire and Theft. They will cost much cheaper. It is only $600++. I got mine when I just passed. Also about the same price. 2nd Party one is more expensive if I am not wrong. 2nd Party one you can also add one more rider....

Correct me if I am wrong. But If u going to add one more rider, who is sharing the bike with you???

Haiz... After a hard day of work.... In the end kena physco and bought a CBF 150 ...

Kinda regret coz i feel like i kena abit "manipulated" by the boss and his assistant there...

At first gotten a very gd price for nouvo there so wanted to make payment and order but they keep recommending me to get the cbf150 which is on promo now with free helmet, box, raincoat,cover...

I was tempted for awhile and discussed over the phone with my parents and den came to a conclusion to insist on my Nouvo coz easy(auto) to ride and light-weight...

But when i insist and proceed to make payment, they suddenly go make some call to yamaha (i tink ) to ask abt color and stock availabilty. They told all color don have except blue but i still ok with it. Later on, they suddenly told me the originally agreed price is not the sport rim version as that is only available as parrallel import and local agent is only spooky rim... In order to get sport rim, have to add $300 and also the COE pricing have to depend on next bid...

All of a sudden, the price of my Nouvo increased so much that it exceed the CBF150 by nearly $400++, somemore it comes with NO free gift(no helmet or watever)...

So after some discussion, i was kinda "manipulate" into ordering the CBF150.... Somemore after the payment, lastly they suddenly make me sign some clause saying if i change my order, i have to pay $2k tp them...

Haiz, now i learnt my lesson and will bring more fren or people down so i won get physco so much....

Collecting my bike next week so very sorry that i cant join the Nouvo team anymore =(

Btw gd luck to y2kredbull in selling his Nouvo...

:pray::pray:

If they can give you CBF next week, don't see why COE is a problem. My Nouvo was local agent unit with sports rim also.

Anyway, since you've committed, Honda CBF is also good; just very different from your intended automatic bike. Remember to ride safely.

Are u sure Honda CBF 150 is cheaper than Nouvo? Anyway you have already sign the agreement. Which shop u purchased the bike from?

Aiya. As for bike right, you can also visit Yamaha direct. As for COE, I thought they have the ready one.. For my bike, I went there place $1K in the morning and ride off instantly on that day. They told me that afternoon can come and collect the bike. That was because I need to install a box, make the number plate and that's all. Anyway, are you sure you cant change anything?

Haha, i also don noe abt the COE part, they told me need bet next week and somemore i need top up $200 if more than $1058.... Somemore make me sign some pay $2000 if i change my order clause.... so how?
