That's a good reason to keep your bike as you will lose big time if you sell just after a year.

But it's not a good reason not to go for 2A and 2. Just keep them handy since they don't have an expiry date and you are still young.

hmm, unless jixiang is like me, get bike just for transport and totally no interest in getting a big bike currently.... haha

altot whether after we grow older will have interest or not is another thing

Uncle:

Any good recommendation on upgrading Nouvo? Change EO and now using Motul. Pump Vpower already. What else can I do? Tyres also change le.

I tot you mentioned that's about all? Dun expect 135cc to work like 250cc even after extensive power upgrades. imo, it works fine for what's it's intended for as a city bike. If you want more top speed, just upgrade to 2A bike, or hang on until class 2 then the wallet's the limit.

bikes generally run in from 800km to 1000km

i do my oil change every month or every 3000km

belt change was at 25000km

during servicing, just change oil only. no oil filters in this bike

The first thing to do for a new Nouvo is to straight away change to a good synthetic engine oil. This is because it is not a fast moving item and the bikes were in storage for a few months. The EO were original from the factory run-in and will have deteriorated over time. Some bros reported sluggish response which were addressed when they changed the first EO. After that, another change at 1k and the run-in should be completed.

Also because it has no oil filter, it's good to change EO at around 3k interval and it's important to check the EO level regularly. But it's still very economical as it's only 1L of EO. Also check tyre pressure every 2 weeks. The rest are pretty standard and low cost as Nouvo is designed as a low-maintenance city bike.

Happy riding!
