ChongAik selling smaller speedos range between $40 to $100+. You can get a decent resetable speedo at $50. I have a photo of the speedo mounted on the bike. Pm me your hp no. I can mms you the pic if you want.

Thread getting quiet. Just had my pipes completed. Bike has no tank as I'd sent it to a friend to airbush to liven things up.

Is the meet up at the end of the month still on? A few of the mod squad already selling or sold their bikes. I too had the intention of selling after completion but after almost half a year in the workshop, I would like to keep it for awhile.

 

How the pipes sound like here

 

Any idea of third party exhaust pipe? The pipe for the rear is tiny. Is that possible to have a bigger one? From the engine outlet before the silencer.

 

You can try sidewayz workshop. They basically customised everything for him but you got to be prepared for the price they charge as customised parts don't come cheap. I'm not sure which workshop but some of the bros might know or you can start reading the previous posts from page 42 onwards.

rear rack i buy 2nd hand.100dollars with install..

brand new is abt 220dollar

 

front crashbar 100dollar,diy install....no more stock at daredreamer already.

hey guys i have a burning question i wan to ask all along. when i pump petrol almost like right after i switch to reserve, i manage to pump in 8.8 to 9.0 litres of petrol. why is dat so? i tot for my 400cc vlx main tank is only 7.6 litres?

spark plugs, air filter, coolant, engine oil & oil filter, OWS flush, front forks, front wheel bearing, brake pads, brake fluid, alarm, carb washed, steering cone, rear brake light, fuel filter, jets, front tyre, dyna carb tuning, rear tyre, rear tyre inner tubing, rear wheel bearing, fuel tubing, alternator, rectifier, battery, valve clearance/top overhaul, chain & sprocket.

cause you switch to reserve, you've ran a distance on reserve.

lets say you pump'd 9L.

1.4L goes back to reserve, remaining to main tank which is like 7.6L

black&white saves life.

VLX/VSE 400 has 12l capacity, 9l main and 3l reserve. The older VLX600 has a 9l tank. The VLS aka Steed Stringer has a 9l tank but no fuel , it has a fuel gauge instead.
