Hey guys, any one who knows a mechanic that can convert steed bobber back to the so-called 'original' steed?

Please sound off, thanks a million!

haha for inspection i suppose? go first motor. at ubi rd 1. just beside traffic police

Of course I trust my skills. I ride alone cos I don't trust the competency of the driver next to me.

No mate, I wanna convert it back to the original form, because the mechanic that converted that steed to bobber wouldn't want to convert it back...

That's a first. Need to pillion somebody on a regular basis now? :)

My suggestion is to ask around here if anyone's interested in bobbing their Steed and then go to the same workshop together and ask to have the parts swapped. Way cheaper than buying new fenders and sub frame, if they even carry them in stock.

I've a tall back rest for sale if you're interested

what's up guys. been following this thread for quite some time already.

I'm gonna move on to a Steed Bobber Project once the restoration on my Suzuki Impulse is done and sold.

Let me know if there is any one selling their steed. preferably coe till 2013 end or 2014 early. low budget.

February 2011 - March 2012 = Phantom TA 200

March 2012 - August 2013 = Suzuki Impulse 400

Present = BMW (Bus, MRT, Walk)

hi, bros, recently my steed had been giving some problems. the engine is suddenly dying off when i am not throttling after i had rode for some distance. But it could be restarted immediately when i press the start button. Then after awhile when i am not throtttling, it will die off again.but if i throttle before the engine die off, then it will be ok. If i ride for short distance, it will not happen also.

I had brought it to planet and we had change the fuel pump and it seems that the problem is still there. Any advice?

This morning my bike had a clanging sound when accelerating hard :( Brought it to Planet and he said it's something loose with the exhaust. Was talking in mandarin so I dunno what that item lol. But he said the cheap solution was to cut off and weld up that thing, or the expensive one replace the whole exhaust. Any long time owners here experienced this? Ah chong said it was common when the bike first came out

Haha, not excatly that. But I had the sudden feel that having a classic looking steed will be nice. Although bobbers are still the 'attention seeking' bikes.

First u must hv all e original parts eg. The cut out bodyframe, rear fender n seat etc. Then find a welding shop to do it.

I have the cut out pillion frame. Rear fender I would it to be custom made, as well as the seat I supposed.
