Wa! Dont scare me leh. I leaving my steed with my mech for a good 1 week (at least) for a makeover and oil leak problem.

Previously my Steed also have bad oil leak problems when I first got it.

I paid my regular mechanic $600 to fix it and the leak was gone only for a month.

Then start again...a few drops a day..irritating...I dam dulan my mechanic for charging me so much but nv gave me a breakdown of what he did.

I am going to repair my 'lost' neutral light prob so I thought it may take a while.

I am thinking of Ah Chong at Planet and Rosli. Who is a better choice to fix this neutral light prob?

Both mechs are competent, won't overcharge & have long wait time. Planet might be slightly longer due to its popularity with phantom bikes.

Question:

How often do the steed spark plugs need to be changed?

Sorry Bro, no one yet.

C90 is rare in Spore and its has electric start.

Mine is stock...rider and pillion are separate seats

Its really a very fun bike to ride.

If anyone or myself selling, I let you know first. :thumb:

If u wanna sell, how much will u sell your C90 for? I know u r not selling but just a gauge for me. :p

How time flies...

Big is certainly a warning but small can be downright scary! Never underestimate the effectiveness of small.

when i first got my steed (13 years old), I sent it to Rosli instead of my "used" to be regular mechanic upon this forumer suggestion. Left my steed with Rosli for 5 days to fix quite a number of things including casket oil leak. (Earlier in this thread, i did a breakdown on what Rosli did and how much I paid). Now, bike is running good and steady. Simply love my steed now.

Looks like the Steed Owners are of a considerable number here in SBF. Shall we start a list? :p

I saw a 1995 ( FM plate ) Steed. COE still have 5-6 years. ( 15 yr old bike )

Asking for $2k before insurance & rd tax. What u guys think? Is it a reasonable price?

Also want to check with u guys whats the maximum CRUISING speed for Steed, whereby it wont wear out the engine prematurely? ( NOT the top speed ) Thanks.

1997 TZR 125 - 1998 FZ 150 - 1999 GSXR 400K - 1999 RX 100 - 2000 LC 125 - 2001 TZR 125 - 2002 CB 400 Ver S - 2006 CBR 929 - 2006 GETZ 1.4 - 2009 STEED 400 - 2016 ???

$2k, i feel a bit ex. Mine 1996 Steed was once offered $1.4k, then i was on the verge of letting it go. But now i am re-vamping my steed with a new coat of paint and new head gaskets.

There is no max cruising speed lah. Some like to cruise at 70kmh, some 80, some up to 110.
