It'll be worth the wait! 2 weeks w/o bike! I waited 1 week for my respray & had to make do with public transport.

 

After you've collected it & have ridden it on the road, you'll find that steed is an awesome "uncle-magnet/ small-kids-magnet/ bangla-magnet".

After you've collected it & have ridden it on the road, you'll find that steed is an awesome "uncle-magnet/ small-kids-magnet/ bangla-magnet".

Well, I did hv my fare share of encounters from uncle-magnet, small-kids-magnet, & pesky-bangla-magnet who'll go gawking the bike mods or simple qns abt the bike, bt when come to xmm/syt-magnet, the best thing was, when I told them Im riding a Steed, they'll go: "What? What bike is that?"

Then, when they see me & my Steed, they'll go: "Eeuurr... So apek..." :sian:

YA! Petrol up 5 cents again. Anyway ROSLI says its tank leaking. I tot from engine. phew.

 

More question from me

 

- I had read the manual and it says 200psi for front wheel and 250psi for back wheel. Is this same for steed VLX?

 

- When i ride uneven surface sometime i got a "tong tong" sound, knocking of metal any1 face this before?

 

i have this problem too...

i believe the sound comes from the tank hitting/bouncing of the frame when bike is ridden hard over pot holes or manholes etc..

this created atong tong sound...between the tank and frame at the front end should have a rubber suppressor/insulation..this piece may be missing/ worn out ..hence the sound.

Big is certainly a warning but small can be downright scary! Never underestimate the effectiveness of small.
