Sorry to hear that.. try calling first motor, rosli, geri looi motodiams. saw steeds at these places months ago.

I'd say.. getting from a private seller is still a better choice.

haha.. now u know what i mean by the very stupid subframe rite... its the way honda constructed the subframe .. i dun think you cut your fenders wrongly. but, it is due to the subframe such that if u shorten your original fender or do any designs to it that make it appear short from the sides.. you pretty much get a look which is "not here not there". lol..

if i'm corret, the gap must have been "huge" on your bike due to the modifications u did on your stock fender.... if i may exxagerate, its about like a scambler's tail in the bobber world. haha ... even if you lowered it to the max allowed height with your lowering kit.. the gap is still very ovious.

if u still wanna use your fender, the fastest and cheapest way to save it is to go hardtail and lower your bike as much as you can until the fender is very close to the tire. you butt suffers but u can always make a springer seat to counter it.

but bro if u remembered what i told u the last time i saw u at rosli's... the subframe has got to go... haha

ya, have to cut the top part of the frame... cos that 2 pc there (that looks like a bridge) is the one causing the gap.

i shd be doing that too.

It's not even 'neither here nor there'.. Bike is in a mess now cos I swap my rear wheel with my friend's VSE solid rear.. So it's neither an old skool bobber or a new skool bike..Year it looks like some kinda of 1985 Honda prototype cruisermotard that's been assembled w scraps that never made it.. I found some materials in the office, time to make the side covers in case I'm ready to chop my subframe. Haha

sweet bars!! yeah.. +1 on the 7/8 section. expands yur option for grips and throttle housing by alot.. haha but if i were you, i'd have gone for 1.2" bars.. maybe its jus me..i like beefy.. hhahaha.. the pics look like you are using 1 inch bars....the short risers are way cool.. but gotta take note of clearance though.. i hope u have tried on your controls/ switch housing and made sure they cleared the tank b4 u welded man.. it would be a mean shock if u found this out the hard way lol..

i'd suggest some kind of finishing though.. dun let your work go to waste.. if u jus use aerosol lacquer.. rust spots will still form.. if u are into chrome.. i suggest u go chrome it.. or powdercoat if u wana.. its not as exp as you might think. pm me if u wanna know where and roughly how much. keep up the good work!
