I'm sure this has been asked before but I'm not sure what to search under.. thinking of changing the rider's peg to those type that allows ur legs to be fully stretched when riding, anyone knows where I can get it & for how much?

Any drawback of using such pegs?

U mean forward controls? cost a few hundred bux... IF u can find ready-made for Phantom... other option is to own self design then go metal work shop custom make then send for chroming or painting...

found an old posting by kmax...

i've checked with madman, but so sad his suppliers dont have this.

i've searched forward control model on ebay and atleast it'll cost 100 USD. cant get exact TA200, but they have honda and yamaha parts.

so i've talked to A* K***, to customize, modify the footpegs to move foreward.

gear shifter rod can be extended, break pump also can be relocated.

but footpegs need to move forward and no idea where to mount.

cant weld it to frame as it'll be illegal to modify the frame.

can put 2,3 inch bracket to move forward, but it'll be ugly..

so, i've decided to ride phantom as it is and get dragstar as 2A, for forward control.. :(

lol.... u can utilize search function... well done..

so... sit on pillion's seat.. not forward control.. but buttock behind and also stretch out position too :p

or u can install highway pegs (another foot peg on crashbar)

that time, i saw extra foot peg in ah koon glass show case, so i ask him isit possible to mount as highway pegs.

but he told me normal phantom crash bars are too thick for normal footpegs to mount, unless u customize the mounting bracket.

i think i saw a transparent fairing..:cheeky:

how about the side view.....wow you will be riding with your legs in the air...cool man...

wear baggy pants when you do.. it will be a real stunner then..even cooler

wah foot pegs on crashbar? cool..

if need change gear or brake must put the legs down. haha

yep, that's why they are called highway bars..

cruising at gear 6, no need to change gear or break...

may i suggest to add a big fat rubber stud or something like that on the foot peg on the crash bar...this will save a lot of hardache later..

Hi kmax,

Looking at the pic that you'd posted, seems like your gear shift lever appears to be like the see saw type (downshift-step fwd, upshift step backward). Am i correct? if so, where can i get it? Has been looking around for a while already. pls advise
