Hi Guys,

 

Making my virgin trip to Genting this weekend by own transport. I managed to gather info for the way UP. However, still clueless on the way back to NSH - SG.

 

Pls guide.

From genting down, just follow the way. try to find any board/sign to Seremban(must be highway sign)

 

maybe the sign below can help

just take note of the seremban sign and ignore the rest

back since 4th.

 

took karak on e way back, missed e KL exit....travelled xtra 100+km in ultra heavy rain. 0 visibility

Hi Guys,

I wished to drive up with my family to Genting from 2nd link. I remember there used to be a very detailed thread on how to go and which tolls to hit, but I cannot find it.

 

Can anyone give me a more detailed advice on the itenary? Please also advise if the return journey is different - at least to hit the NS highway. ?

 

I find it every now and then, there will be people like me asking for directions to some part of Malaysia. Can some experts post some detailed route to these interesting destination so that we can benefit from it

from north south highway....

Straight until Sg besi Toll Plaza,

After toll plaza..Keep left , enter exit to Cheras to flyover.

Cheras straight..Pass by makro on your left and pantai Medical Centre on you right go..straight..See word "AMPANG..to straight see ZOO Negara..No turn turn left or right..

Another word see " KUANTAN" then enter from exit flyover..

Then again go to KARAK highway until toll paza ...Until EXIT 803A ( GENTING SEPAH" then turn left to genting highland..Drive safrty...

There are many speed camera and good enjoy there..

Please be careful not to speed even when going up.

Just came back 2 days ago.. there was a Speed Trap on the way up.

Many cars both Sin and Mal were pulled aside halfway up.

i am going for a holiday (just lone rider with gf) to genting highland on feb.. any bro's here went there ? wat is the consequenses to take care of ? a bit shaky to go there lah.. scared bike lost.. anything to take care of ? is parking at the hotel area near genting safe ? pls enlighten me bros...

When are you going? How about going on the 8th and come back on the 10th Feb? Superpeak period, hard to book hotel....Better do it fast.

 

As for security, only way is to lock up our 2 bikes together with ultra thick chains and 2 'granite' locks...

My friends and i are going up on the 31st jan(early morning) to 3rd feb.. Going during the CNY period is expensive on the hotel and the 'coffee $$'. Do let me know if any of u guys are interested.. Its basically a Fri-Sun thingy.

If you park at first world hotel there may be security guard. At least when i went they did. E mail the hotel to enquire about parking security?

can park at first world basement carpark...got security guards around..

BUT still advisable to bring along lock n chain..even e malaysia bikes chain n lock their bikes too..
