I think...

 

specs I vtec opens at 6750 for all gears.

specs II vtec opens at 6300 for all gears.

specs III vtec opens at 6300 for gear 1~5 and 6750 for gear 6.

 

I think thats why he says specs II better if you like to play vtec. By ard 100kmh vtec is open for specs II at gear 6. For specs I and III, still w/o vtec...

 

personnally riding a spec 3

it is better in fc as while cruising u dun need to open vtec so early to save more fuel.

 

but i dun understand... why must be spec 2 then better to play vtec?

if buy 2nd hand, of cuz spec2 older than spec3..

 

fyi, spec1 travel 110kpm at abt 6.5k rpm w/o oning vtec..

at speed 110, vtec open already. unless ur sprocket sizes are not original.

proven by many spec 3. but it will only off when it drop to 6500

so it is +/- 250rpm

its a difficult comparison. b4 i bought mine i ask around...spec 1 ppl say spec 2 more powerful, spec 2 say spec 1 more powerful then when spec 3 come they say spec 3 most powerful.

it feels more powerful as the VTEC kicks in earlier than the rest on 6th gear. technically wise it is the same.

all the vtec series is the same. b it bhp or torque, its the same. just the vtec kick in rpm is diff n of cos with some new added features.

 

b it vtec 1, 2 or 3, its the rider that makes the diff not the bike cos all r CB400.
