Hi guys, is it true that we don't need to use the white card anymore when entering malaysia... when did this take effect? did it came out in news??

btw FYI for all...

 

I went in by Link Kedua this morning and was told that the White Immigration Cards that we are so used to... are no longer in use/service.

 

Passports were stamped as per normal, including my gf's European passport.

So the lack in requirement for white cards apply across the board, not just Singaporeans.

 

Just thought I'll share with you guys.

 

Exit too was as per normal. I asked the immigration guy at the exit side and he concurred with the news of no more need for white card.

hi, i just went to 2nd Link to top-up n the person told me it just started on 19/01/08 n just give ur passtport n they just chop when u go n come out, as the radio also just broadcast if i did not hear wrong?

yup... i went in and out without any white card too. pretty good. no need to fill up the forms anymore.

For all bikers please insert a card or a piece of paper at the page that MY custom chop when you enter MY.

 

For the return trip back to SG the custom need not flipped through all the pages to find your last entry chop and this also reduce time for the bike q.

 

Worse thing that may come to is the custom does bother to cancel entry chop and you leave MY without any exit chop.

You can also fold a corner of the page of your passport with the last entry chop to speed up the queue.

I am using a small paper clip to mark the page last chopped. Cheap and it works!
