think my dad was also once a "racer" back those days... he told me quite a few stories...especially racing with headlights off... and his territory was at prince charles area... TODAY he gave me his helmet used during dat tym.. so old already but the stickers is still strongly intact.. wore it a couple of times, its very small.. and yea, he told me not to sell it or peel of the stickers coz its a sentimental value...

last time really is LIKE THAT! but i was still young. You never see big gang fights nowadays. But last time is really GANG fight. Now the gangs fights are like trival matters. Last time gang is DAMN HIONG bottles fly chopper everywhere. Police also act blurr. But once they press the gangs down one by one with inside info then all fallen already. So you knw why some place dun sell bottle beers or wat and Coke is all in metal cans. You want details of something like that you can watch "Gu Wah Zhai" last time its more hotz than Lok Kok De Ring...

Scale of 1 to 10 i would say 11 in SG. hahahaha. Cos the fight is ALL AROUND SG. You got hits everywhere in SG on a planned nite.

Thats why there is ppl with a dot tattoo on their forehead. It means :"tau kak ji diam, pah lang bo cheng diam." meaning on head on dot (diam) beat ppl no need time (cheng diam).

just rented the dvd yesterday after reading the post here. missed the movie the other time...

 

watched with my sis and her bf late at night yesterday... brought back quite some memories... and laughter... now think of it... last time time why i behave like that sia....

 

i would said this movie was so far the most realistic 1 i watched... as for those funeral fight.. don't think that will happen.. cos there's still so call basic respect . but over all.. quite a nice and compete show... but still as a viewer.. still don't like the story of turn over new leaf guy dead in the end...

Dear Guys! i just watched "The Days" DVD its out. Not so much of motorsiao but more of SG ah bengs and gangsterism back in the 90's is a story of 2 brothers. I should say to me this show is VERY MEANINGFUL as the set is exactly my time and it really brings back alot of memories of my school days back in the days.

 

I like this movie very much. I dunno abt you guys but i think its worth watching. And the story is actually a TRUE story of the Director. He and his brother's story so this even made it even more meaningful.

NO NO NO bro you got it all wrong. This is a TRUE STORY. And the Director is actually the Elder brother in the show of this story. The director's younger brother is in mental hospital and thus he is making this movie in tribute for his brother.

 

You didnt watch the other special feature in the DISC huh. No wonder. The disc also contain nice MTV. The lead actor sings very well.

 

All the characters are real in the director's pass thus he knws how to lead the actors to play the role well. All characters are real except the Vicious Valerie is just a made up role.

durin my time...in early 90's...there alot of motor siow...malay & chinese are common...fighting at east cost or changi.....racing at changi after 11pm are common every Sat nite...we all watching & i even got to try it out...but motor siow dat time...if u saw them it give u the shiver...they mostly ride in 20 bikes above not including back up@cars & lorries..even the TP also scared to catched them. Funny dat,after they left den the Tp arrived..when they return to Changi..the Tp phoof!..MIA..Saw it at changi , they beat these Chinese guy riding RG 125...& wanted to burn the bike...me & my buddy quickly help him..

 

As for me, i always riding in group..8 of us..as we encounter alot form motor siow@ malay & chinese..dat was the day...if u can recalled it liked Young & dangerous movie.. .
