Did anyone custom make IU bracket with Send Kwang? Do they do for u on the spot or have to go back another day to collect? If on the spot will take how long? thanks in advance.

normally on the spot.. abt 30mins.. if they are free.. they will need your bike to be around, as it's customised to your bike..

Anyone knows of any other metal shop to recommend that will bend brackets (for exhaust, lamps, IU etc )for bike ..

I'm planning to. I've already contacted them, it'll cost about $200+ for my X9 Header Pipe in Stainless Steel.

 

Just bring down your current pipe and pass it to them, they'll duplicate it out. Even my workshop (FutureScootering) recommended them. I've used them once anyway, excellent and friendly staff.

Personnal experience,

Once went b4 to get a quote for bracket for backrest, was quote over 200++ (for 2 piece of metal as got the backrest so just need get the bracket).

was thinking might as well i order direct frm japan factory, with backrest+bracket+rack only 300++ n original somemore.

 

u drive bigger cc bikes = more $$$ to spend so can give higher quote.

was confirm by a old biker who had frds that experience the same thing.

for eg. normal IU bracket 50 bucks for wave, but more than 50 for super 4 n other bikes.

i am not bad mouth the shop in case ppl flame me or such. this is my exp.

 

by the way, TP n such do it there as got economic of scale in terms of bikes so = cheaper n if any wrong can wack till the shop close. but normal bikers dun have that power. So not because the TP n such go there = good. just that easy to find them in case got issue.

ive a dent in 1 of the header... can they pop up the denT? no need to be 100% just reduce the size of the dent ...

This is a known fact.

they openly charge different price for different bike ..

IU bracket for Ducati / BMW / HArley is at least S$80/-..

 

but to be fair, these for these 'expensive' bike, the work is more 'customised'

and the fussy owner can tell them where to bend and what angle to bend etc ...

 

and i've tried looking for other metal workshop to do what they are doing..

most shop won't do it ... even thou as reider we think it easy $ just to bend metal for bikes ..

 

i've gotten two different metal workshop to do stuff for my previous bike, cheaper, but the workmanship, service is vastly different. and these workshop are not familar with bikes so customer must do their part to strips the fairing, tell them where is the batt, what can be remove etc ...

 

If anyone knows of another metal shop that can do what SK does .. please share ..

yes SK does it, but not sure if they are still doing it.. y not consider changing to aftermarket headers?

i think they charge $200+ to modify it..

 

PS: i have SK modded headers. if you are really interested, give me an offer i cannot resist.

They ready for business around 10++am till 6-8pm, closing time varies.

Sat will close earlier...5-6pm....

 

Not opened on Sundays & Public holidays.
