if they say that an upgrade of 200cc from 400 to 600 makes a lot of difference..then again i think it would make lots of difference

when u upgrade from 400 to 600 u upgrade by another 50% so difference alot when u upgrade from 600 to 750cc ...its juz another 25%...so its like no much of a difference yo.........there will be difference but not that much of a difference

Each piston is pumping more power every millisecond, so can say the power is quite significant..

just do a search on the gixxer 750 torque curves and u see the diff btw 600s and 750s. real world difference. best japanese "sportbike" for street use... bit of 600 and 1000 blood in it...no comments for track...i'm not a track-goer.

sianz ... y no zx6 riders giving comments ? cbr , r6 and suzuki is so common ... for ur information most of the europeans love kawasaki bikes, dunnoe y singapore seldom see kawa ard leh ... on the road if i saw cbr , yamaha or suzuki , i dnt feel anyting special leh . but if i saw kawa zx10 or zx6 or zx14 ... i will lock my view to the bike a few more sec... i still cant make up my mind to get a r6 or zx6 ... seldom see zx6 on road makes me scared to buy it ... so wat do u guys tink ??

well... my guess is that different country different trend. unless u go to track, there's not much different. on road performance, maintenance wise all plus & minus abt the same. unless u talk abt on track performance then it makes a bike different. go with wat your heart wants. in singapore u can't run anywhere far unless u go touring. even if go touring, its not as if racing where coners, gear shifting and etc plays a part. life is too short... go for wat your heart wants.

I am in the exact predicament as you... Kawa not many ple ride so in terms of gettin 2nd hand parts or others will it be difficult or ex cos of low supply n demand ?

 

how about the resale value? Will it be prices such as Gixxer ? Or lower such as honda n yamaha? It be great if someone can comment on this...

I believe it might be due to tat insurance for kawasaki bikes is higher . N support like spare parts dealer is not tat good .

superbikes magazine just did a comparisom of these bikes for 2008 version.. Honda won hands down in terms of handling, weight of bikes and etc.. the only thing Cbr'08 lost was its paintwork.. just my 2 cents worth to the ongoing debate..

yr pillion sit on yr seat or on pillion seat??

if one seat, den yeah man...honda will not be comfy...to tight lah. a comfy one wd be R6 i guess??? the widest rider seat compared to the rest??? not so sure...but it looks big, so share 2 person more comfy...

 

but if seat on pillion seat, den i think honda better....coz the distance from rider not so far compared to the rest.....if pillion hold the tank also wont be so far to reach...but still tiring lah.

 

but i think more safer if pillion seat same seat as rider...

but i ride a cbr6...so i think i prefer to pillion using my wave lah..

coz most sportbikes hav wide rider seats......end up pillion seat very far from rider. so its a bit inconvinient for the pillion if sit on pillion seat, plus pillion seat is high.....feels scary man!!! also me as rider, if pillion sits far from me...i feel not stable, and not safe. so usually pillion end up sharing seat..(THIS ONLY APPLIES FOR LADY PILLION...)

if guy pillion....u better stay away from my butt hor!!!!
