Maybe it's becos there's nobody challenging him at the front???More action sure to arise from the 3rd,4th & 5th position shoot..

Unlike the Laguna Seca GP where the both of them was running for top spot..

Latest updates for 2009 season, it seems like Bridgestone would be the sole tyre supplier for next season 1 make tyre rule as Michelin never submit a tender for it..

Possible Lineup for 2009;

Fiat Yamaha = Valentino Rossi & Jorge Lorenzo (Confirm)

Repsol Honda = Dani Pedrosa & Andrea Dovizioso (Confirm)

Ducati = Casey Stoner & Nicky Hayden (Confirm)

JiR Team Scot = Yuki Takahashi(New rider from 250cc)

Tech 3 Yamaha = James Toseland & Colin Edwards (Confirm)

Rizla Suzuki = Lori Capirossi & Chris Vermeulen (Confirm)

LCR Honda = Randy de Puniet & ????

Kawasaki = John Hopkins & Macro Melandri (Confirm)

San Carlo Gresini Honda = Alex de Angelis & Toni Elias (Confirm)

Alice Ducati = Mika Kallio & Niccolo Canepa (Both Unconfirm)

Possible 3rd Kawasaki & Ducati bike on the grid next year..

Stay tuned~

one remark stoner gave was quite true...

in the 250cc....all use same tyre....but top few still can break away.

WSBK also all use same tyre....often top 3 or 4 riders break away.

one article i was reading about bridgestone is...there are 4 different types of tyres.

stoner uses type A. doesnt means its the best....but different profile. when rossi moved to bridgestone....he specifically ask for the same tyres stoner uses. so, he is only the 2nd rider to use it. so, the yamaha was tuned to adapt the new tyre.

hopkins recently tested type A, but using different tyres for race.

Don't just break your laptimes, SHATTER them!!

You guys got read in the motogp website about what Pedrosa's manager has to say about Hayden? No wonder mighty honda has been struggling this season. Its pointless to have two bickering prima donnas as teammates.

luckily Nicky Hayden moving to Ducati next season.

Anthony West Signs For Stiggy Honda(WSS)

Another piece of the 2009 rider line-up jigsaw has been put in place with announcement that Anthony West, a two-time WSS race winner, will return to the class in 2008, with Johan Stigefelt's Stiggy Motorsports Honda team.

In 2004 ‘Westy' rode at Brands Hatch in a one-off outing for the Honda Team Italia Megabike squad, when he qualified 13th and finished ninth. Last year, his three rides for the Yamaha World Supersport Racing Team delivered a remarkable two wins and one third place.

Having not had a happy time in recent MotoGP rides, West is heading back to the WSS paddock for his first full season in the class and in one of the most respected teams in the paddock.

Said West, "I'm very happy to be joining the Stiggy team. Stiggy is a friend and old team-mate from 2003 in 250GP. I remember saying to him one day that he should start his own team because none of the other teams knew how to do it right, and to my surprise he did! Over the last couple of years I heard from everybody in the industry that the Stiggy team is one of the better ones in the championship. To have a team boss that knows what it's like to race and knows what racing is all about is just great! After a difficult year in MotoGP I need to race on a bike that can win, and in Supersport together with team Stiggy I can. For 2009 I have only one goal - To win! "
