was offered 4500 at albert..

i know that fuel consumption is good,and maintainence is simple.

but how abt the spare parts?got resale value in future?

Hi,just bought this bike last week...anybody else been riding this bike?So far so good for me.Full tank + reserve is almost 20litre.Dat is like $35bucks full tank.Now my mileage is about 700km and petrol is halfway mark(inc reserve).Hope somebody else who have been riding this for quite sometime can share some info.

I truely interested to find out more about this bike. High mileage because of high tank capacity. The only bad thing I heard that it cant go at high speed. 90km/h. I dont want to stress the engine too much as it could easily lead to engine overhaul. I m still finding out more about this bike.

Hi Pals, Those who are already riding Pulser, How is the Bike vibration? What is the high speed this bike gives?I know that this bike gives a good milage.

Yes,it is a 2B bike.you can see the bike in the main page of the forum.it have so far 4 different colours.Blue,red,black and silver.

Hi,i cant say much about the bike for now cos i myself just got it before new year so everything is quite new to me.im sure there are some riders who have been using it for quite sometime.

 

Speed wise,i cant comment now.still running in so dun want to stress the engine much.Manual put top speed is at 127km/hr so i assume should be 120-130max.

But i think if ur thinking of speed instead of comfort then i guess this is not the bike for it.Nice for cruising and the engine sound is different.

Yo people!...juz wanna share about this people...when it first came out in Singapore...i was sceptical about its good mileage thingy...until one of my working colleague...who is indian national....was so upbeat about it when i told that bajaj pulsar is pretty good, reliable and very economical bike....within 2 weeks, he sold his x9 and bought himself a bajaj...currently he is clocking an average of 55 - 60 km for 1 liter...but his bajaj back home in India is clocking 75 - 80 km per liter...WOW!....juz for your info...bajaj is based on Kawasaki technology....i was told that back in India...it is called...Kawasaki Bajaj Pulsar...

 

Heng Motor at Kembangan is selling it at 5.5K brand new...includes free helmet, raincoat and box...

Just wondering how the bike, bajaj, sounds like? I currently riding 2 stroke rxz and the loud sound of 2 stroke bikes are quite deafening. I saw a black bajaj at my school and compare it next to rxz, it look quite the same except for some differences.

I dun think there's any 2nd bajaj pulsar around.Brand new is around $6K so i guess its more or less affordable.

 

Mileage thing about there in India and here,i guess is totally different since from wat my indian fren says there they dun ride dat fast so if compared here in sg..i assume the mileage will be lesser here.

 

Sound wise some people dun like it while some people like me like it.A lot of people gave me different comment.To me much much quieter than RXZ..more or less sound like loud vibration.

Can anyone add some information about the Bajaj Pulsar. All I heard was that this is a very new bike. Any riders out there or anyone who knows someelse riding one, I want to hear what you guys have to say abt this Bike!

about bajaj pulsar.it's an indian company bike . which is good but there are some few disadvantages.. like the chasis is little weak mostly the bike stand.. then it's a little uncomfortable to ride it..... it's look is great but very uncomfortable in busy streets.... frankly speaking i didn't like it....

i also quite tempted wit pulsar-180.. called universal motor on sat , 4.9k otr including insurance... later maybe dropping by at univeral motor to take a look ..

according to an uncle at my school who is riding a pulsar, its low maintance and fuel economy..

hey,im riding pulsar now.to me personally its a good comfortable transport bike.if ur thinking of speed,power etc then i guess u will be disapointed.maximun speed noted in the manual is 127km/hr which i guess is more than good enuf for sg road.

 

I got to disagree it is uncomfortable to ride cos depends on wat bike u have been riding.i have been riding rxz so just change to pulsar and feeling is more or less the same expect of course much heavier due to the super big tank.Furthermore the tyre is bigger so more comfortable riding,smooth.better for bigger size pple.

 

full tank 18L with 3L reserve tank.during my running in one full tank can go more than 700km almost 800km so i assume after running in it should catch around 500-600km.Topping up i think better go JB cos sure worth every single cent going there cos down here topping up can cost more than $30bucks.E.O is using 1L only so i guess better use good E.O.

 

I bought the bike not at universal but those bike shops at alexandra.most of them carry pulsar also but i think they get the bike from universal since universal is the main agent.i suggest if anybody wants to get it then dun just buy it straight from there,look around and check out the prices.it may save u some cash actually.

 

I bought the bike less than 6K but mostly depends on ur age due to the insurance.

Bike have 4 colours.Black,silver,red and blue.Personally i got myself a silver but black is so very nice.

 

Engine sound is totally different.different pple have comment differently.I personally like the sound rather than rxz which is loud and irritating but some pple

dun like the sound at all so better check it out too.

 

4 stroke bike.2 spark plug with electric start and kick start.no coolant only air cooled.anyway all bikes got its pros and cons,i dun think there's any bike which is 100% good only if not there wun be a newer version,upgrade of that bike model.At the end of the day,just know that ur the one riding the bike not someone else so make sure ur happy with the bike including pros and cons before realli buying the bike.
