btw i noticed in the morning ard 9-12 like tht the 2 times i took route 3 frm JB almost till kota tinggie its like slow moving traffic n lots of heavy vehicles...was think wat cld be the ideal time to avoid all tht maybe early morning?

Hopefully more people will join. I think I know the way there. However actual directions and accommodations will have to be sourced. Just a simple overnite trip.

 

Rajoana, if it's just you and me, I think I would like to postpone it till next weekend. What do you think? No offence. Just thought the more riders the merrier...

hey sorry wasn't really connected to the net past few days, so i didn't check sbf. i'm free next week.... i'll check frequently so i won't miss it again. time really flies huh... didn't even realise it was the 15th so quickly already.

hey guys ....can i check with u all for both the P model n the V model the rear suspension can the compression n rebound be adjusted or only can adjust the preload?

change already! no longer have a bandit.... but i just passed by the way to mersing on sunday, and i think the new bike is slower than the bandit through turns! just a feeling you know. ;p

 

btw re the rear shock, AFAIK, it's only preload adjustable. i did adjust my preload to the max, but still didn't feel good.

juz got dis bike afew month change alot liao..dulan liao..change oil flow,oil seal,cdi,colent pump..etc..bought the bike at $1100 den repair for $1000++ liao..now rear suspension got problem..anyway,does dis bike got vavle?

oh my sounds like a bad experience for u man.

Valve errrm...not sure la...i think no.

well bro ride the bike ard for sometime 1st see if anymore problems 1st...

Abt the suspension....unless u r gonna keep the bike for long then change to some gd shocks.. might cost u another 800-1k.

 

If not wat i intend to do for my current bike is get a hyperpro kit. This will change the springs for both my front n rear cost ard 400. Heard feedback tht its better than the original. Or u cld course a 2nd hand shocks.

 

Maybe can dropby BIkelab n checkout prices n get some advise as they are suspension specialist. They might have serveral options for u.

rajaona: i'm riding a kawa zg1000/gtr1000 (us/europe model names) concours now. quite long wheelbase, so a little unwieldy, but big and comfy too.

ducktales: it's the CDI that did it... cost $500 right? hmm. anyway what's wrong with your rear suspension? this "david" guy at braddel road (some shophouse at the junction with upper serangoon road, shop is called teck thong i think) seems to do cheap and good work. i've seen lots of good reviews and a couple of bad ones. he quoted me a rebuild at high 200+ before, for bandit, but i didn't do it coz i sold the bandit instead. you might want to check that place out.

Hi, I just bought a suzuki bandit. A red one, very well kept!!! Just one thing I dont like, no fuel guage. Can't wait to meet up with you guys...

By the way I just bought the Suzuki GSF400P Bandit, quite a good condition bike, it comes in the typical red livery, and one thing that I like is the idea that the colour has not faded like many other Bandits. I am the second owner of the bike, and really got to hand it to the first owner, he did a great job maintaining it.

 

If there are any outings coming up, please gimme a PM, and by the way, since the Suzuki Bandit has no fuel guage, roughly how far can you travel before you have to go and pump some gas?

there is a reserve switch on ur left, just below the tank... ithink most of us avg ard 240-280 before reserve...

 

personally i run dry, as in incl reserve at 330...full tank is 16 litres anyway, 12.5 + 3.5
