(Moreover, these trade shows usually don't coincide with payday dates one...)

The PC Show is designated for the PC trade and the high-tech computer community as well as for the sophisticated end user, Industry and institutional buyers, computer managers, maintenance and logistic management personnel, developers, web-masters, IT-Pro's, web-site builders, support and service personnel, and knowledge workers.

It's Suntec, and the exhibition is spread among 3 floors.

computer shows happen once every 3mths in sg... 3 at suntec, 1 at expo. for wat i know, these computer shows in sg r very sales-oriented and they shouldn't be called 'shows' (they shd be called 'IT fair' instead)... unlike those in taipei, korea or US which focus on new technolgy and product launches.

What I learned is this, if you go Sim Lim Square or whereever during the same time as the PC Shows, you will get the same deals as at the show. And don't need to cram with people somemore.

 

Hmm, seems like just around the corner, maybe I will put off my upgrading for another month.

Not all products you will get the same price. I did that last time when I am getting RAMs from Best Bargain. Sim Lim is selling $5 more than the PC Show. I ask them y cannot give the same price, they told me that the PC Show have been subsidised by the distributors. So no choice had to make my way back to buy the RAMs. Coz need 3 = $15 savings leh.

 

So still have to do homework before buying anything from either sides.
