Wooooooooohooooooooooooooooo, Firebladers rejoice!!! 7 Sep is the day Honda will announce the 2008 CBR1000RR!!!

 

2 display models in fact have already arrived in our shores!!!

 

I have pix of them, but unfortunately I can't post them. After reading the press kit, I can tell you all the other litre bikes out there will have to take 2 steps back and bow to the new king. It is true, the 08 Blade has the highest power to weight ratio compared to any litre bikes out there.

 

As Steve Jobs would say, one more thing ... the new exhaust is the most beautiful and original stubbly exhaust I've ever seen.

 

But here's the only thing I am allowed to post.

 

We will kick Ducati ass!

 

 

From the picture of the 2 boxes.

 

I find the figure "8" rather odd looking!

 

Why is the figure "8" resemble the "B", it is like the "B" right side mirror imaged onto the left !!!!!

 

Anyone can help?

u r right,this tashi use cut n paste method to cheat us. he tot that we r stupid.i once look at it i knew something wrong. if new model i will be the first one to inspect the bike so i am sure 08 is not out yet.

Riding is about freedom man, didn't they watch Wild Hogs, they can't restrict us with rules.

 

And what's this thing about Kiddy Bikers? I almost regretted signing up. Riding is about sex, drugs and rock n roll, we don't want to be babysitting.

yup, the new VFR seems to look like that... and its quite unique & stunning...

 

btw, one of the SBF guys who link up from Ubi TP Convoy team posted a link to his personal photobucket pictures website... my pic is in one of the pics, receiving the hampers.. :thumb:

The VFR doesn't look like the usual tourer.

 

Din, is that my hamper? Don't pretend pretend, curi makan my abalone ok. They did give out new moon abalone in that hamper didn't they? :lol:

 

That ang mo is from Motor Culture. Met him at PG when we had the FireBladers trackday.

Thk u for the compliment, u too shld have received the hamper, u know why rite. But seriously u did nt lose out in any way, the hamper is only a gift. Btw, a lot of e riders, including myself were amazed by ur skills, technique and enthusiasm. U cld see e bbdc instructors even encouraging u to try again to get an even much better timing... 13s to 14s on a 7 cone pylon slalom to and fro, plus the u-turn is quite impressive for our vehicle build size and length, and nt to mention the figure 8 timings tt u got.

 

As Tashi has mentioned, the ang mo guy is from Motor Culture. Likely that it would be out in their next monthly issue, either later this month or in Oct edition.

 

Yup, the VFR looks more sporty n not of the normal sports tourer type. Since its using a V4 engine, im quite keen too, to know when the specs would be out to compare it wif the fireblade...

Ur most welcome bro, ill inform u when we guys here meet up for any outing, then u cld join us all n meet up.. its always nice to see a grp of bikes of e same type hanging out together.. although theres ALWAYS no restriction to other different bikes to join.

 

Btw, remember the bicycle stage performance for that day... they were doing stunts and lotsa balancing....

 

so for the plank course, i tell myself that i am also balancing a bicycle, only bigger, heavier and wif an engine... *Mind control power* "psychoing myself"
