OK, guess this list is pretty much finalized. Have started to make bookings. 2 slots in Cameron are still available at this time. Those who confirm at a later date can get the hotel numbers from me.

Hello Ismail, if you're reading this, where are you, you seem to be MIA, couldn't get you on your phone.

Here's a clearer pic of the VFR1000. I think this could be it. I remembered when they introduced the 2004 Tricolore Blade, everyone thought it was photoshopped, but that was the real thing.

This certainly looks better than the previous VFR, but it's far from being sexy.

The 5 spoked rims look light though, and I hope the 08 Blade has a new set of rims.

Torque said he almost hit 2 mins on the plank. If so, that's a big wow! Me, I'm the world champion, the fastest rider on the plank, heh.

What is 2mins when other people with 125cc got 16mins...

Btw, the closing date for big bike fest registration is 10 sept. I'm still considering the registration. Thinking if I'm the only one to take part, i might give it a miss. haha

Where got CBR1000RR 08 model in the 2008 Model launch. Scared me sia, IMHO the above 2 pictures of the so called CBR1000RR looks darn crap. Damn ugly. If it is really the new CBR1000RR, Tashi, I think U should change to GSX1000R already then with me, ha ha.

Sep 02 to Oct 02- Black Cagiva Planet (1 word Lousy)

Oct 02 to Oct 03- Yellow RXZ133 (Too light for me)

Oct 03 to Mar 05- White Purple CBR 400RR (Not enough style & power)

Mar 05 to Dec 06- Red CBR 1000RR (Wonderful except the magnetic coil issue)

Dec 06- Dec 07- Black VFR 800 (Good bike but not my style, thks for the memories)

Dec 07- Black GSX1000K8 (Nothing else to say except Damn good)

Ronald McDonald, at 1st I thought this pic could be legitimate. I'm not too shabby with Photoshop myself. Even though Honda did not announce it, I thought perhaps it could be leaked.

After careful studying, I can say wooooohooooooo! This is not the real deal.

It's a pretty good photoshop actually, except for 1 small detail that gave it away.

Suzuki has announced a safety recall on its 2007 GSX-R1000 motorcycle.

The recall is to prevent a problem with the motorcycle's idle speed control valve, which can lead to the GSX-R1000 having the wrong idle speed when fired-up from cold.

This could result in a shortened engine life span, premature wear and tear of piston skirts, and in a worst case scenario, propelling of pillions up in the air.

Suzuki is contacting owners of the GSX-R1000 motorcycles to arrange for work to be done on the machines. So far, Suzuki says very few UK GSX-R1000 owners have suffered the problem.

"Suzuki GB is to issue a Safety Recall Notice on the GSX-R1000 K7, after diagnosing an issue with the Idle Speed Control Valve on engine start-up.

The recall, which will see customers notified via post, will require affected machines to be returned to authorised dealers for component replacement.

Owners should wait to receive their official letter before contacting their authorised dealer to make arrangements to return their machine for rectification.

Suzuki GB have been extremely proactive in dealing with this notice, ensuring effective communication to their dealers and potentially affected customers, as well as making sure sufficient.

i'm sorry, but if the cbr1000rr8 realli is that, i gotta burst out laughing coz its so sad that its funny. or mebbe its so funny that its sad. that thing looks like the thai-made cbr150r. i'd never buy such a thing no matter how good it is. goodness, dont brilliant bike designers exist anymore...

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!
