Is anyone using Dynojet PC V? and the Auto-Tune module?

 

Lai lei .... share some of you reviews.

How you tune your bike?

What maps you use? ... since you can pump 2 different maps into the fuel injection module now.

Is the Auto-tune a good investment? Does it compliment to the your existing maps?

 

i don know if u know this guy called amba he faced alot so prob with the auto tune it even cocked up one of his qualifyin for him but i don know any one else using it so cant comment much

haha ya very compact n light... i will miss cbr1000.. smooth powerful durable n gd fc... but i will miss the most is all the freaking nice n humourous cbr1000 ppl i've met... yongster, dino, mx catfish and the ever funny jonest.. hey guys although i changing bike, but we can still meet up rite.. eh n i still waiting for a wash bike session with u guys man

Too bad timing not right.......my fren just let go his K7 600 at a ridiculous low price last month..... If u were ready at that time, could hook u guys up.......

Don't be mistaken. A O2 sensor is just a sensor. It a device that utilised the sensor to take AFR reading. The device is neccessary to take the data and computed it.

 

The one u refering to is wide band commander for PC3. It is a real time AFR logging system. This device will plug a O2 sensor into your exhaust O2 sensor socket. Remember I mentioned that real world riding reading and dyno tuning reading is different? Wide Band commander will record the AFR during your ride at different rpm/throttle position. But it will nor recommend you the mapping. Just in case if you are not sure, mapping is just + or - fuel at individual rpm/throttle position. Throttle position is every 25% and RPM is every 1500rpm or 500rpm, I forgot.

 

So with this AFR log, the tuner have to roughly estimate how much fuel to + or - AND at which RPM/throttle position. And then you will have to ride again to feel the result and the new log. It involved alot of trial and error.

 

By the way, wide band commander is not cheap, think around 500 or above. You still haven't add in the money to pay the tuner to "estimate" and change the value for you. This is why Autotune is much better than Wideband commander. At least it recommend you the mapping but you need PC V though. :cheer:
