I have a pair of HB Xplorer 40 litre side cases up for sale.

Originally aluminium in colour, but both have been totally black/white wrapped by plus some reflective stickers (pls see pics). If original aluminium finishing is preferred, can always remove the wrap at own convenience.

Note: Boxes only, and sale doesn't include mounting rack/bracket and the full-face helmet in the pics.

I would dare say they are both unused. You will have to see and literally smell them to ascertain that I am not kidding and that this is a real bargain.

Original price for boxes is almost S$1,100 plus wrapping, and these two came with the bike that I have just taken over. I do not intend to use these Xplorers and hence putting them up for sale S$950 only.

Pls PM me if interested. Viewing and collection at Redhill area.

AH ANN does the job for you, confirm ANN LA HAHAHA YEA i am one of the 90%, thanks to him to customize my hnb rack for me HAHA, the whole day he pushed away other customers just to complete mine ( 10 am to 1plus am) unlike others who only wanna squeeze ur $$$ and act yayapapaya(ask u to leave the bike without considering the fact that he still has one long queue of bikes to do and it will took days to reach ur turn), ah ann took his time and ensure eveything is within his expectation, told me if anything happened to the rack can just go back find him but i haven have the chance since then

If you read back this thread, the mounting point @ the (used to be) bungee cord hook point is a weak point.

It'll either, due to weight stress, break from the sub-frame.

Re-welding back the point will still occur the problem.

This is because the design of this bike, especially spec 1 & 2, does not have specifically rack for mounting boxes, and the boxes company will have to use conventional ideas to fabricate the mounts.

The worse case of stress fracture, was that the rack itself, at the curve up point broke, just ask dragonforce.

& he was using Givi E52 then.

Main thing of using this rack & mount is that, periodic check the sub-frame and also not to overload the box.

There is, however, a way to curb this, but, to each his own views, maybe ugly.

SCDF's fleet had fabricated a "n" shape metal(nt sure which material) over the rear seat and tail for its Wingrack, thus spreading the load as if there's a pillion on it instead of just having just the mount points of the suspension and bungee cord hook point.

just my 0.001¢

Bro, how does this "n" shape look like?

If I visualize correctly, its one metal piece bend n protrude out at both ends then bolted at the side frame. it'll will go under the seat at our tools area?

am I right?
