Just buy a 135 and race in tuas. Thats what i hoping to do,

 

Just sold off my X-1 today. Now its time to find a stock 135 to take part in the stock race.

mssc is in the process of having a clubmam race put 2gether 4 the local racers. mainly its 2 help promote the sport n give the 400 cc riders (esp the newbies) more exposure.

 

so r u guys still interested in making dis event happen 4 sg circuit racers?

Suggestions for a successful roundup and participation of aspiring racers:

 

[1] Round up those who wanna take part, especially those who want to but have concerns stepping up to the plate (yours truly included )

 

[2] Get them oriented - and prove its worth to them - on racing in SG/ Pasir Gudang.

 

[3] The last time I've heard, with regards to sanctioned racing our local motorsports authority (SMSA) has to agree to this kinds of racing. I believe this is for Singaporean-based applicants that want to participate in races not put together by SMSA themselves.

 

[4] Initial track-riding and/or cornering training:

I've been to track with so many aspired first timers and people with the correct mindset and potential, and personally I think what newbies are sorely lacking are bad-habit-breaking track-riding training.

There's just way too many of them are going off the track, being unstable around corners, crashing due to simple mistakes, etc..., which is why I'm somewhat stressing Point #4.

 

Of course, this may be dependent on instructor availability and whether they're ok with teaching. Elsewise, we're free to OTOT get our own form of training here or elsewhere.

 

Now, I don't wanna sound like a talking stick, nor do I wanna talk like I'm an expert (nor am I one), but these are just some stuff that I put forth that I think may or may not make these kinds of events happen.
