Good idea but those buggers might be pissed off seeing an empty box and do some other stunts instead.

Yup, manage to replace 'cos it's common item. The ones that were stolen were the after market ones.

 

actually, you can count yourself lucky that the jackarse didnt donate some sand or foreign object into your engine. if not really is GG.

 

That's true. Was my very 1st thought before I started the engine. What if there's foreign object inside the tank? Thankfully still can start and ride home.

Curses to the idiot thief at tampines mall this afternoon who parked at B2 and STOLEN my digital cinnamoroll clock on my bike at the desboard.. its ok but being such an assh$le as u are i hope u will get involved in an accident.

Last few day ago, i parked my bike near a petshop to get sand bath for my hamster.Then a "mamat" on cub parked beside my bike,sensing something is wrong,i went back to my bike.He was opening up my IU unit(Too bad no cashcard),then he move onto my allen bolt covers,peel off with his fingernails. Quickly went back,to my bike,he smiled and move off.

 

Bloody hell,he still got the cheek to smile.Locate his bike,a few days later and gave him a lesson on what i can do with 3 open/ring spanner.He messed with a diesel engine mechanic.Bad choice.

well to share my experience wif u guys..i guess have this habit of forgetting to remove my cashcard after rides..therefore in total i've lost 6 cashcards due to my clumsiness/stupidity..anyways..i had this incident with my 6th n final cashcard..i juz parked my bike at the huge parking lot outside ntuc downtown east.as i was rushing to get in time to my fren's b'day cut cake ceremony,n i totally forgot bout my cashcard..upon approaching e entrance of e chalet,luckily my gf asked bout my cashcard..i then rushed back to my bike and as i was crossing e traffic light,guess wat..i saw dis traffic warden looking at my bike..i knew dat i was going to get a summon as i didn't put e parking coupon..but then poof!right before my eyes,the warden guy mingled wif my IU unit,looked left n right and quickly slid my cashcard out n into his pocket!n it's right before my very eyes..upon knowing that i created a short "play"..reaching e bike n tried to look as exhausted and nervous bout my cashcard,i asked e fellow politely.."have u seen my cashcard sir?"guess wat he said.."cashcard?sorri bro i juz arrived.."i was like WTF!!n somemore he can say,"did u lose ur ccard??well that's a common thing..ppl see cashcard and take very fast 1.."again i was like WTF!u're e culprit and u're saying this?now that's wat i called bad samaritan.. luckily there's dis uncle wif his family who saw him taking it..the uncle came and gave him a gd lecture..his face totallt became ..2 mins later e police came n he kept apologising to me..i was like hmm..now who was e 1 giving me feedbacks on cashcards..n then poof!!he returned back e cashcard to me..i was like wow...wat a damn stupid uncunning thief u are..but e best thing is,i didn't get a ticket from e freaking warden but in fact an attempted theft from a bugger!!

Hooked my helmet under the seat and parked my bike at woodlands blk689. Came back like 1-2 hours later, helmet GONE! only left the helmet strap ring on my bike...

 

my helmet bought for only 1 week siah!! bought from this anniversary sale, the FOX helmet.

 

i'm gonna wring the thief's neck if i see him selling here!!

amk ave 10 cheapo theif. I just don't understand the mind of the theif nowadays. Do they really get a kick out of stealing? Some stupid broken into my box again. they stole a 1/4 can of engine degresser. a 1/5 can of chain lub. they didn't steal my nicely folded bike cover and my well-worn sliper (for rainning days used). they leave the worn-out helmet alone even it is kept in another unlock box. Why do theif in SG so low. Can't they just break into a car (in rich man area) or something? the punishment from the law is the same, isn't it?

 

I got even more funny theft experience.

sometime ago, someone posted he caught someone stealing his cashcard n the culprit was eventually arrested

 

eventually e police took him away..but i had to go to e station too to make report..wif e frenly n angel uncle.. well didn;t noe dat someone had e same experience as me..

nabei... lost my cashcard this afternoon at bugis. was preoccupied and forgotten to take it out. returned a few mins later and voila~! its gone. still have $11+ inside leh

really hope the guy who took it choke to death on a beancurd, kanna strangled by a chee cheong fun and last but not least, get concussion from bird droppings dropping from his head.

A friend of mine staying at AMK Avenue 4 area also encountered boxed opened early last year... guess what... the police arrived and shocked to find ALL the bike boxes in the MSCP broken into and ALL EMPTY... the thief took EVERYTHING!!! Witness saw 2 men and a van loading some things... but couldn't remember the plate... Our plan to go JB that night was cancelled as his passport was in box...

 

Maybe we bikers can organise our own watchdog in these prone areas... carpark watch cum gathering cum tok kok session cum sharing session

I solved my cashcard issue by using the spring cord thingy and attached the ring to my IU. The clip end I will clip to my bike key ring when I insert cashcard. We rarely forget our keys. Pull key out... walk away with key in hand... and the chord will pull you back to your IU...resulting in recovered cashcard... it's a well calculated mathematical formula.. LOL... Note: Not for bike with Ign Key hole far from handlebar...;)will think of something...

 

I forgot my keys one time together with my cashcard and left overnight... almost died of heart attack!!!

erm.... dat is if ur bike's keyhole is on top right? wad bout phantom or other cruiser style bikes? i tot of the idea also but the cord seems to get in the way of the handlebar so i didnt do it in the end
