ok bro got reply from indon ... see price tag above but issue here now is the shipping

 

30kg = $240USD = apprx SGD$302

 

so $302 divided by 13 pax = $24 to $25 each

 

so basically price tag for at present

 

Alum LED is $40 + $25 = $65

 

Raiser is $20 + $25 = $45

 

price tag subject to change upon any changes of numbers ordered.

 

let me know asap if you all ok with the price tag ... we can open few more ppl to maximise the 30kg to have the shipping shared cost lower......

Hey @O'Ren, rather than creating a website, how about we get a Facebook Page? We only need 25 fans to get our own vanity URL. Something like facebook.com/SingaporePulsarian

 

It's a great place to host photos, videos, event calendar, notes, links, even a faq. If we have people that can code in FBML or know iFrames then the options are endless. It's also free and super easy to setup.

 

What do you guys think?

In addition to that, even the most premium petrol in India is adulterated and the quality is suspect. Even the RON 92 petrol here much more superior than what you get in India.

2nd hand est 2-3k for a 2-4yr bike.

for 180, there's 4 type, we call them ug1-4. usually what u find is ug2 or ug3. ug2 has analogue while ug3 digital meter. ug3 tail light is led. the rest almost the same

ug4 has similar outlook as p200, no kickstart, handlebar also diff.

p200 has oil cool system

for maintenance, is the same for all 2b bikes. universal motor at queensway is the sole distributor for bajaj, they selling the parts quite expensive, but we have other alternative. so unless u have engine trouble which we always advise to go back to them, all other things can try to source.

Yep agree we have to have a FB page, but needs a lot of constant management to update properly and respond to people. You have to expect people to post to ask things etc..besides just reading the FAQ.

 

I am not on FB, I close my account. So I know I won't be able to manage it and take care of it. Someone has to step up and do it regularly.

 

I suggest the name to be singaporepulsarians for the URL, with an "s" at the end because that's what the team name will be as well as the website.

 

Once the logo is done, we can use it for the website and launch the FB page. Or you guys can create the page now, get 25 of us an your friends to become fans and just start updating it. We will need one anyway because some people just can't live without FB

anyway just as i did not mount my camera today cause was a short trip to autobacs from my place, i met another IDOIT driver

was travelling along upp bt timah road towards clementi just outside The Linear that condo

saw 2 cars on the opposite lane preparing to make a U turn

the 1st car made the U turn as i was quite far away

then the 2nd car inched forward and stop

i was already approaching the U turn and the 2nd car decided to turn out

i immediately closed my throttle and slowed down at the same time pressed and held on to my horn

some more he did not turn out fast, he took his time to make the U turn

i already slowed down and i still had to swerved to the right lane to avoid hitting his rear

when i passed by him i turned and stared at him

the driver looks like a 60+ year old old man

and he looked shocked and just looking forward

i think my horn scared the **** out of him

I think the riser shouldn't weight as much as the hand guards, so we probably shouldn't split the shipment weight according to the number of participants but according to what they are getting and how many pieces.

And I echo Alvin's question on how far are we from the 30kg you gave as an approximate figure ?

actually not necessary the case

cause the handlebar riser is solid metal

while the handguards are hollow in some parts

so the weight might be the same...

if never remember wrong the handguard is about 2kg

Thought of Saturday noon. If we going tommorrow evening, might be too dark, don't u tink so?might miss the crucial exit.

How about early morning ? Noon will be busy, say we meet at tuas around 8am ?

I think if we choose to go to the GP Rest Area with the Esso station, we can't catch the J4 the way I wanted. So from that rest area, we need to go back on the highway, no other choice, and ride until the next crossing of highway to exit to GP town.

But, if we take the exit left after the customs BEFORE the GP Rest Area, then we do a loop on J4, and go back to GP Town without the highway to explore more and enjoy a nice ride in the nature.

 

But this means that riders will have to have about 35km of petrol in their tanks because we would only stop for a break and petrol at GP town, and not at the rest area.

 

I like the long route better because I want to see what's there and check it out of my list of JB roads but I'm ok to take the Gp Rest Area and hop on back on the highway again to get to GP town for breakfast. (cause I don;t think the rest area will have breakfast makan, will it ?)

 

And i'll have my GPS with me so will be able to guide us even if we miss an exit

Oh. so Universal Motors does sell second hand pulsars? can i get one for around 2.5k there? Cos i checked around and i found out that buying from shop costs more than buying from u pulsarians! =X am i asking for too much?
