@Lucky21, I just found the correct Keng Seng shop you told me. Basically the 2 shops are seperated by just 1 shop in between and the correct one is the 1st shop on the road.

I changed my EO to chex for 14$.

Few things I noticed. If you open the drain bolt and leave it then the used EO will stop flowing out after about 3-4 mins. But if you just bend the bike on both sides and then leave it some more used EO will come out, atleast another 100 ml more. So basically you need to spend about 10 mins to drain out all the EO completely. Some bike shops are stupid, they dont have patience and will just close the drain bolt immediatly after the initial flow stops.:slapforehead:

Also another thing I noticed about checking EO level. If you just went for a ride and then park the bike for an hour and then check the EO level it will look low. Then come back after leaving the bike overnight and then the EO level will be fine. So best time to check EO level is after the bike has had a good nights sleep :cheeky:

I check my oil after 10 minutes of cooling a warm engine.

Just changed my oil, and took the effort to clean the chain guard and sprocket cover as well. Surprisingly not as dirty as i expected, after 1.5 years of leaving it alone. Was a little sad when i tried to reinstall the lower chain guard, it was broken.

Was a little concerned that the engine ate .4L of oil. While the oil change was a little overdue, i was expecting over .9L of oil instead of .8L. I add 1.2L of unclube every oil change, btw.

Sent my bike to universal motors to replace it. Took the opportunity to change my rear tire as well. Go go duro taiwan! My second favourite tire behind shinko advance.

Made a detour to southern motors to pay my installment. Its two weeks early, but whatever lah. Now i have an issue with them claiming i didnt repay a small debt of 25 dollars which was over a month ago. I repaid it back within days of taking out that loan, so you can imagine how miffed i am right now.

Fuel filter still has mothball residue. Ah well, sprayed it out and everything is good.

Checked my plugs. They were running a wee bit too lean, so hopefully a .25 turn cw will make it better.

He wanted to use the PH and go up thailand with his frens to play, about 10 bikes and 3 cars heading together. He is single and 29 years old, suspected he loose control of the bike and hit onto e signage pole, he was pronounce dead on the spot.

My deepest condolences to his family. Ride safe ppl :)

Bro, thats a lot of EO loss. What is your OCI(Oil Change Interval)? Did you open your air filter recently? Could be that the EO is escaping into the Air filter box through the breather pipe, like my bike.

welcome

1st hand bike?

if so stick to the proper run in speeds and EO change interval

normally we cruise on expressway about 80+-90+km/h

on normal roads stick to the speed limit

fc depends on a lot of factors

most important is engine condition and riding style

Check your plug cables. If you have a spare plug ,unplug your plug caps, insert the spare, and hit the e start button. If you have blue sparks, your plugs are fine.

Check your carb. Is fuel flowing? There is a flathead screw at the lowest point of the carb, lhs. Open it up, see if you have fuel overflowing. You need to trave the fuel overflow hose, though.

Last but not least, do you have petrol going into the carbs in the first place? This may seem the silliest, but check if your fuel cock is in the on position.

when you try to start notice any surge in electricity?

might just be your electrical starter

when you kick start what did you hear?

try taking out your spark plugs and see how is it

got spare plugs to change into?
