Good thing I went to ask and let them test, is actually not much difference with or without dB killer, just a bit more beefier sound and is still within exhaust noise spec in singapore, also some repo

POWER !! .. AWESOME !! ... Feels like NOT riding a bike but FLYING a Raptor F22 .... kekekekekeeeee

Ya cannot remove, I guess. Its fastened with nuts and bolts to the main rack.

its the same as my old boxes

but i did some of my own changes to the bolts/nuts

then can remove the boxes by removing the bolts/nuts

To all, (and Brandon in particular), yesterday evening went riding with a group of Ducatis riders (majority girls) and I now realize how much a bike like a Ducati and a Pulsar are worlds apart. Universes apart even. Each got their positives and negatives and each a different purpose, but the riding style and the bike's character and "soul" are very different. I like both, because they are different and not competing in the same league.

Very friendly group of riders too, truly passionate about riding and about their bikes, very similar to how we are with our Pulsars.

I encourage you to mix with other riders, outside of this group, there's a lot to learn and discover :thumb:

Hey guys,

 

There seems to be some problem with my bike. When I change to 5 gear, there is sound coming from the engine/chain. Its kind of a rattling sound, it happens only while accelerating on the 5th gear even at low speed. At same speed 4th gear I dont get that sound. Also it happens only while accelerating, if I close the throttle I dont get the sound. Any idea what the issue could be?

 

I intially thought it could be very tight chain and I went to nearby bike shops, they say the sprockets are worn out. But how can the sound come only in 5th gear if sprockets are worn out? I am thinking the 5th gear is worn out, what do you guys think?

I agree with o'ren. One of the main reasons why I change different bikes. To get a feel of different models and how each bike handles. Unfortunately, I do not have the luxury of riding far.

rev i too kinda have the same issue, when in 5th gear and around 4-5k rpm there is sound... ah teck told me 5th gear has worn out but can be used and not to open the engine just replace this gear as its not worthy doing considering the high labour charge.. so i'm just putting up with the sound for almost 5 months now.. so when the time really comes will change all affected parts..

Thought I could wear my new fullface and let my wife wear my helmet.. In the end no stock for mine and had to buy a pink mib helmet for her..
