arghhh...

walked to my bike this morning to find a puddle of EO under my engine and a small puddle under my rear sproc...

sent my gf to work, once i stop to let her alight, saw eo dripping drop by drop...

than after that at every traffic light i stop at i will look down and can see EO dripping drop by drop...

thats not the end of the bad day...

started to pour when i was on the way to work...cause me to be slightly late...

wanted to take 1/2 day to go fix my bike in the afternoon only to find out i am on course in the afternoon...

SIANZZZZ....

have to head down to UM after work...

reach at about 6pm...

hope can solve the issue today...

what a super lousy way to start the day...

btw the EO that was dripping out was very black...not the transparent brownish 1s that you see in the new EO...

and EO level is good...

not sure if its leaking or residue...

cause last fri already got notice but thought residue...

MCN overall verdict 5 STARS

If you’re looking to get your license, learn to lift either wheel or pursue some lightweight urban thrills, the 125 Duke can do it for you.

It doesn’t seem like a regular, budget 125 machine;

It feels like a premium motorcycle that just-so-happens to be low capacity.

It’s a shame engine modifications only allow restriction and not an enhancement of power, but it’s early days yet.

Move over YZF-R125, ...

this is the new king of the 125s

Even though the dripping is steady, the EO level will look good, because from the max to min level is atleast 300 ml. Since the dripping is drop by drop it will take a long time for the level to reduce.

@ Alvin: I faced the exact problem as u bro.

Went UM they say o'ring or oil seal left side no good. Changed alr, went home overnight leaking again.

But i cant determine after that the leak was EO or petrol.

After a few days, it seemed fine. Then now it only leaks after pump full tank sometimes.

Other than that should be ok. It's just the time of the month. Need to buy kotex..

Next time u see the dripping, try switch off the petrol switch, see whether it stops or not.

Why so confused, bro. Just smell it. Petrol has strong smell. EO no smell. :)

maybe its ur chain lube?

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

If it is not full chain cover, then I doubt the chain lube will drip for so long

iirc, he's using auto chain lube, so it might be dripping non stop.

@Alvin and @speedaddict

have both of you open the front gear sproc cover and clean the area? if no maybe that puddle of oil you drip from that area cos of the dirt mixed with chain oil and water that trapped in the area.

@speedaddict .. since you mentioned it at times happens after pump in full tank , then maybe the fuel overflow from the tank drain hose it puddle below together with the above menttioned.

just my thought only ... i also dunnoe lah .... hehehehee
