Just now went to UM for servicing, next trip need to replace steering cone and the ball bearings...

anyguys here had that done before?

 

I have stock mirrors. How much is um selling?

done that few times, iirc $70.

try loosening or tighten it to ur style. if u can live with it, it still can be used.

I think its 65$ including labour. But if you bring your own bearings and steering cone then only labour is 35$. Last time I went to UM, an Indian rider was changing it and he was telling me. He had brought all spares from India. Haha.

 

But its a painful process and Ah Teck took atleast 1 hr to do it. The whole head cowling and the fork needs to be removed.

Why go southern sia.. It is the world most jialet bike shop i can say liao... My friend also go southern buy his rs125, then COI, wah... he 3-5mth never pay the installement, the bike shop keep calling him lol!!! Then my friend wack the bike 4th time piston jam, then he straight call ambulance and send back to southern LMAO!

Offence: Fitting additional rear lamps without ROV's permission

How did the LTA come to know? Do they do spot checks on the road?

Is this something similar to what Glzco is using ? I was thinking about adding additional rear lights...

My gear shifting very loud since i bought the bike, like going in first gear from neutral or down gears when slowing down...

the sound is a really loud 'TaKK' like that, is it just my bike or you guys have that sound too...?

Ah Teck is the skinny guy but no spiky hair. He is baby face. He is the busiest guy there so you will know Be prepared to wait for couple of hours atleast if you want him to look at your bike as always long queue for him.

 

For gear changing sound, do you depress the clutch fully? Which EO you use? Try Fully Synthetic 50 weight EO its should make the gears smooth like butter.

any idea if the handguard can be fixed without changing handlebar or drilling, perhaps just using the stock's bolt in exchange? going um tmr after work possibly to fix the handguard..
