@yhang23, yes both tripmeters will reset after 999

 

And no changing the stock sprocket does not void the warranty. Nothing really does, UM is pretty understanding about this as long as you don't go and start messing up with things that will cause the problem you want the warranty to cover. (ie if you change the main unit to so ethic else and burn the whole electrical system it's gonna be hard to play the warranty card).

 

After I changed to Sinnob, warranty helped me change my battery after leaving the bike in the parking for 3 weeks while traveling overseas. When they see it's not your fault or they understand you didn't do anything on purpose to damage the bike and then claim warranty, they will oblige, UM are pretty decent and honest so don't worry!

Of course I don't mind ! The more people who tag along the happier we are to share !

Everything is well thank you, no more EO leaking since I tightened the drain bolt. The road to here (Samut Songkhram) was a bit mad with trucks and traffic compared to everything we saw so far, and we expect today to be no different (or worse) as we get closer to BKK.

 

We are going to avoid BKK, and try to stick to the southern road that goes below it and becomes the coastal road on the other side of the Thailand Gulf. Will keep you posted on Twitter !

when the engine is cooled...

if after riding, let the bike cool down 1st then check

make sure put on main stand on level/flat ground with front wheel touching the ground...

Haha so detailed, making me confused. but i know what u mean is oil level should be inspected while the engine is not running.

@-Gu0Zz- I remember you mentioned that Hou Heng in JB has cheap sprockets and chain. Do they have 520 chain and sprockets for phantom? Do you know the cost?

Sorry i dont remember, but i think it wont be cheap cos they're mainly dealing with small bikes. Some on mentioned that chain n sprockets cost 35 or so at LAB! that one should be 520.

 

Btw i have a spare Night breaker plus and 4 sets of led white pilot lights for sale cheap~ anyone interested? $20 for osram and $3 for a pair for the leds.

the main point is that the engine have to be cool when you checked...

the engine can be not running when you just stop your bike after a ride...the level you checked will not be accurate...

have to wait for the engine to cool and the oil to flow back...

I cant accelerate more than 4.5 - 5k RPM or 60km/h, vibration n noise really high.. i dont wana ride anymore, just left it at the car park saving the ride to go UM when i'm free (dont wana tow if it breaks down).. previously when I visited UM, from the noise ah tec said probably the clutch plate n some other stuff worn out and need to change, just to open the engine costs $120 or 150 something.. need to change my 5th Gear as well.. shifting house this weekend.. all expenses come together :'(
